Chapter 459: Chapter 459 Despicable Means (1)_1
Zhang Gengshan looked at the bed with some disbelief. The young master had ordered Pei Qin to serve as his maidservant for a month, and truly, he hoped that after a month, they would leave just as they had said. Last night, when the young master called for Pei Qin to attend to him during his bath, Zhang Gengshan had a bad feeling.
Upon hearing noises from the bathing room, Zhang Gengshan hurriedly tidied up the bedsheet and took it out to be washed. As for what was on the bedsheet... he refused to believe... that such a noble and pure person as the young master... would... masturbate.
Mo Heng came out of the bathing room with a slightly dark expression on his freshly washed face, which was faintly turning dark. He never thought that there would come a day when he couldn’t control his desires. He had already taken a cold shower, but the heat wouldn’t subside. He looked down and felt somewhat relieved that it wasn’t summer.
The morning hours were almost over, and Pei Qin had not yet arrived. Mo Heng sat in the hall, waiting continuously.
Zhang Gengshan glanced over, limped out the door, and went to Liu’er Alley to call for Pei Qin.
Pei Qin was at home eating, her mouth stuffed with a big meat bun, enjoying her meal heartily. Seeing Zhang Gengshan, she rolled her eyes, "Coming now to fetch it? His breakfast is in the kitchen!" She even disdained Mo Heng for getting up late.
Zhang Gengshan choked, said nothing more, went into the house and took a look at the food box – buns, fried dough sticks, soy milk, and small wonton soup. It was just enough for one person.
Carrying the food box out, he looked at Pei Qin, "Ms. Pei! The young master is still waiting for you to serve him!"
Pei Qin really wanted to retort with ’can’t he do it himself?’ but she thought better of it. After finishing her small wontons and gulping down the soy milk, she wiped her mouth and walked off eating the big bun as she went.
On her way, she came across a villager who, seeing her walking with Zhang Gengshan, asked with a smile, "Are you going to the workshop!?"
"No," Pei Qin said directly, turning the corner with Zhang Gengshan.
Their homes were separated just by a house in Liu’er Alley, very close to each other.
Seeing that she wasn’t going to the workshop, and rumors having been spreading in town about a stunningly handsome young master who seemed to be living nearby, and with Pei Qin heading in that direction, people began to speculate about her relationship with the handsome young master.
After Pei Qin entered, she saw Mo Heng sitting in the hall waiting for her service. She had not come, and even breakfast waited on her, prompting her to curse inwardly, "Do you want me to hand-feed you!?" Clearly, he was fully capable himself, yet he wouldn’t even eat without her!
Mo Heng saw her fair and delicate little face and her scornful expression, which made him involuntarily recall his shameful behavior.
Pei Qin’s complexion shifted, "Do you really want me to feed you!?" To take such liberties!
Mo Heng averted his gaze and started on his breakfast by himself.
Pei Qin just stood by, watching him eat with refined elegance, and couldn’t help but curl her lip in disdain. Putting on airs while eating! No matter how graceful and good-looking his eating was, it still couldn’t change the fact that he was a sick Narcissus!
After the meal, Zhang Gengshan cleared away the plates and bowls.
Pei Qin came over, thinking that all she had done was watch him eat.
But as Zhang Gengshan knew, it was not to end there; he left for laundry, and Mo Heng then asked Pei Qin to prepare ink for him while he practiced his calligraphy. As for tidying up the desk and bookcase, Mo Heng had no such expectations of her.
By afternoon, Pei Qin was still grinding ink, discontentedly complaining, "If you wanted someone to grind ink, why bother me!?" Anyone would have been annoyed by the relentless repetition of the same motion all day long!
"Do you want to do something else?" Mo Heng flicked a cold glance towards her.
"To put it precisely, I don’t want to do anything at all!" Pei Qin voiced, both dissatisfied and aggrieved.
Mo Heng gave her a deep look and said nothing, bowing his head to continue practicing his calligraphy.
In the evening, he instructed her to warm the bed as he went to bathe.
"Warm... warm the bed!? You really want me to warm the bed for you..." Pei Qin’s words trailed off.
