Pei Wendong quickly spoke up, "I can do a bit of light work for the family. I’m willing to!" He was the only one in the family not earning money but still spending the most. How could he not do any work at all?

Immediately, Wendong obediently went off to do work.

Without another word, the three of them just listened to her going on about Five Rings having one more than Four Rings and one less than Six Rings.

But by the end of the day, the four of them had indeed collected two to three hundred pounds of bamboo shoots, caught seven bamboo rats, three wild hares, and even found a nest of wild chicken eggs.
