Chapter 27. What ifs.
Chapter 27: 27. What ifs.
He moved like the ocean. Like clean fine water gloriously waving, rippling its way openly. Water that could move so slowly in one minute, and rage wickedly fast in the next. His movements, his strokes, his thrusts were evoking sweet sensations in her body. Sensations that Neriah could only liken to molten silver. She had seen silver melted before, and seen the smooth, slippery and slimy look of it.
That was exactly how she was feeling, like everything inside her, bones included, had turned to molten silver, and was smoothly slithering inside her skin, from the crown of her head to the sole of her feet.
Oh, and was she in pain? By the goddess, No. Far from it, she could feel no pain at the moment. In fact she had forgotten that she ever felt pain, and for whatever reason it was. All she knew now was sweet, sweet tingles. Beautiful shaking thrills gripped her time and time again.
Time and time again, she’d flip her lashes open to see him. His face, the strained expression, the pleasured look, the beautiful look. She studied his face and body and she knew him. Compulsively. But she knew him, as he had told her to.
Sometimes his arms would hold her body to his, sometimes he’d kiss her, sometimes he’d hold her hands down to the bed. Other times he’d bury his head in the valley of her breasts. And she’d know he meant to suck on her, and she didn’t wish to, but her body expected his lips there. Craved for it. And he always fulfilled those expectations, always gave in to those cravings that she didn’t wish to have.
And sadly, she was grateful. Grateful that he didn’t leave her breasts aching, that he knew to help with the need he was educing from her.
Cries and shrieks of utmost surrender left her lips. He moved above her, beside her, within her. He was all around her, his manly scent enveloped her till she was certain she would never be able to wash him off.
Soon, she could feel a vibration inside her, a certain kind of bubbling in her body, at the same time she was certain she suddenly needed to do some personal ladies business. Her eyes rolled to the back, her head turned, he held her hands down and she wanted to run from the sudden rush that was overwhelming her.
She wanted to cry because something turbulent was happening inside her, and it was vehemently sweet. She needed to run from it, the rush, like a sudden darkness cloaked her. She could see a certain tiny light, she just had to reach for it.
Her back arched, her knees folded up, her toes dug deeper into the bed, and in one strong rush, that tiny light burst right before her eyes, overwhelming her, enclosing her, blinding her, and she fell back to the bed, the bright light was fading, sweet gracious darkness had overshadowed her.
Her eyes were open, but she couldn’t see a thing, not because the candles had burned out, but because the vehement feeling that just swept through her left her with sweet gripping tremors, and she just couldn’t see clearly yet.
In a minute, she felt his entire being constrict around and within her. She felt the hot rush of something flow deep into her system. And he just remained there for a while, breathing. Then he fell on her, slightly to her Side. His heavy arm possessively around her little body.
They were both panting, both breathing like they had been chased by the goblin king and just barely escaped him.
For minutes, they both laid there in silence. Nothing but their breaths filled the air.
Neriah could now begin to think of what she had done. She really did it. She just copulated with a barbarian just to spite her father, end her proposed marriage, and marry the man she wished to marry. Lyle!
Oh, but what madness drove her to the hands of this barbarian? Oh why did she do it? She could have just tried harder to talk to her father? She should have talked to Lyle first. Why did she do it with this barbarian?
Her head was starting to work all too well now that the deed was done.
Maybe he was right, maybe if she had sincerely explained to her father, maybe he would have seen reason with her? Oh what had she done! Maybe she should have talked to Lyle and asked him why he couldn’t sincerely go to her father and ask for her hand.
Yes, it was her wish to attend the lover’s moon dance, but it wasn’t necessary as long as she had the man she loved. If he had agreed to sincerely go to her father for her hand, then she wouldn’t need the dance at all.
By all the demons on earth, she should have thought this through! She should have given Lyle a chance to tell her his reasons. She should never have slept with a man she didn’t know! Oh goodness her foolishness knew no bounds.
Oh dear gracious goddess, what if Lyle hated her now that she was no longer chaste? Yes, he loved her, but what if he didn’t love her enough to forgive her?
Don’t think like that Neriah, he loves you. You believe in him. He will understand why you did this. He will still love you. Lyle is not a fickle man, he will love you. She kept telling herself in her head.
Oh but what was the assurance that her plan will work? Why was she so foolish? Always acting before fully thinking! Her mother always said she was too impulsive, and it would get her in trouble one day. Now, she believed, her mother’s words had finally come true.
She’d acted on impulse, without fully thinking. She didn’t even give the stupid idea half an hour thought. She just thought of it, decided instantly that it was her only option and she did it!
