The Devil Doctor's Spicy Love
Chapter 205: Angry and irritable

Chapter 205: Angry and irritable

"B-Boooossss!!!"

"Evil doctorrrrr!!!"

Bojing and Lihua ran towards Mingshen as soon as his figure was visible in the lab. Bojing grabbed his left arm and Lihua grabbed his right arm. Their reddened eyes stared at him demanding for answers.

"Where is sis Jia!"

"Where is sis!"

Both simultaneously questioned. Their faces were an artwork of tears by this point.

"My sis cannot be in jail!" Lihua burst into another set of fresh tears.

Bojing nodded hard to that. "B-Boss has to do something. S-She sacrificed herself for us!"

Mingshen looked down at the two silly clowns tugging onto his arms like two children complaining to their parents. "Let go of me."

Lihua glared. "No way! First, you have to promise me that you will help sis! She is in jail!"

"She is in custody. It is different from being in jail. Will you hold your horses for a moment?" He dryly said.

"What is the difference! If we do nothing then custody will get converted into jail!" Lihua cried.

"Thanks for the reminder little chilli but I haven’t gone senile yet so my memory is crystal clear. Get off now."

That made her grab onto her even tighter.

"Why are you holding me like I will run away?"

"Evil doctor is not trustworthy."

Mingshen’s cold smile greeted Wei, who stood behind his wife with a depressed countenance. Clearly, he wasn’t so pleased with Mingshen’s proximity with his wife.

"Will you pull her away or shall I push her?"

"Don’t you dare push her."

Wei promptly tried to pull her back, but she adamantly remained by Mingshen’s side. "No, I want sis Jia! She cannot be punished! She did nothing wrong!"

Bojing cried once again thinking of Jia being all alone in the custody room. From behind him, Shilin offered him his handkerchief. "Senior Lu, calm down. We will figure out a way."

"Whether we figure out a way or not, throw these kids out of my lab," Mingshen cruelly said.

He finally managed to shake them away when Wei approached Lihua. "Don’t worry, Lihua. I am already working towards Jia’s bail processing. I will get her out, I promise."

Bojing and Lihua looked at him like a messiah. "R-Really?"

He nodded sincerely.

Mingshen sneered. "Only if things were that easy. Do you think a cop admitting to the approval for the surgeries, especially for a teenage kid would be let go easily? Don’t forget you are the Mafia King. Don’t forget the cooperation contract either. She is your sister-in-law but she is also a cop."

Wei agreed that things looked bleak but he was determined to help Jia.

"I will make it work out somehow-"

"No need."

Lihua fumed. "So who will help sis?"

"Am I dead before your eyes?"

"..."

"I will take care of the matter so buzz off."

He walked away with a cold gaze dropping the air’s temperature.

Bojing trembled. "B-Boss is in a very bad mood..."

Lihua was shocked as well. "Yes, I have never seen him like that before."

Shilin said, "It’s a stressful situation for everybody, especially for Boss. He might not show it but Miss. Song’s actions definitely weigh heavily on him."

Bojing nodded.

Wei patted Lihua’s head. "I will go and meet him. You stay here with Bojing. Don’t worry. We will get Jia out anyhow."

Mingshen held Jia’s badge in his hand, staring at it without much expression or blinking his eyes. Yet a lump of something dark and uncomfortable was swirling in his mind, making him more and more irritable.

"Is that Jia’s badge?" Wei asked from behind.

Mingshen put the badge back in his pocket and turned the chair to face him.

"Get out."

"What have you found out till now?"

"Get out."

Wei knitted his brows. "You are angry."

"Congratulations on decoding my emotions, genius."

"We all want to help Jia."

"Now you will give me therapy? You?"

Wei’s lips lifted in a proud smile. "Lihua taught me a lot of things."

"Didn’t she teach you to leave people alone?"

"I cannot leave you alone because Lihua cannot leave Jia alone and I cannot leave Lihua alone so in turn, I cannot leave you alone because you won’t leave Jia alone."

"Let me shoot a bullet through your head just once," Mingshen’s jaw gnashed.

"Lihua and our twins will be very sad with my death so no," he sincerely answered.

His fingers twitched with a thirst for blood.

"Why are you angry?"

"Because I let that nurse die!!!" He banged his palm hard on the desk that sounded akin to a vicious, thundering roar.

Wei blinked.

"I was an idiot! I let that man die even though I saw that drug dealer and his men die before my eyes here in my lab. I should have remembered about the chips that release poison. I should have known that the nurse could die if he would be forced to talk more. I should have seen it crystal clear the moment I saw that tattoo! I should have thought of a different way to interrogate him, but he died!"

Mingshen leaned back on his chair, breathing hard. It was like the link to find the culprit behind all of this broke off with the nurse’s death.

To him, it was such a basic mistake to forget about the chips that he could hardly believe that it happened by his hands.

"Zhang Feiyu said something about his wife excited about something at her work but even he doesn’t clearly know of how she is connected with these buffoons. It doesn’t take us anywhere and I am back to the start! So do me a favor. Leave me alone for my brain to come up with something."

"You cannot think with a chaotic mind like that," Wei calmly said.

"How not so chaotic were you when Jiang Zhen had taken Lihua away?" He sneered.

"Is that how you see Jia too?"

He frowned. "See how? There is nothing to see here. Don’t waste my time."

Wei shook his head.

"Who are these people?"

Seemingly a little calmer now, he replied. "Have you ever heard of a gang named She?"
