This novel is good. The level of abuse mc goes through at the start is to cruel. The fact that he gets to be happy(even though he is constantly deadpan) and accepted as fast as he does makes it bearable and a good contraat for the story. He gets op very fast but his cautious nature makes him very passive, but it also makes sense.
