"Please, follow me," Ms. Han seemed to have received instructions from the chairman, so she did not need to consult the chairman anymore. She then reopened the elevator, "Our Seges Building is divided into buildings A, B, C, D, and X, and the planning department is located on the fourth floor of Building B."

The three re-entered the elevator, which slowly descended to the fourth floor.

Exiting the elevator, they were met with two glass automatic doors. Beside the doors was a card and facial recognition device.

Ms. Han took out her employee card and scanned it on the device, and the automatic doors opened promptly.

"Can’t you enter without an employee card?" Wolf suddenly asked this out of the blue.

"Yes, the access of each employee card is restricted, and it is temporarily activated only when necessary for work," Ms. Han explained without hesitation, though curious about why Wolf asked such a question, "This is also to prevent employees from wandering around and wasting work time."

"Uh-huh," Wolf nodded and did not ask further.

As the elevator doors opened, the three stepped into a highly modern company environment. A long corridor connected the north and south, and several offices were distributed alternately to the left and right along the corridor.

There was a communal office area for nearly twenty people and private offices used by company leaders.

The communal office area was basically entirely transparent, devoid of doors, and many employees could be seen busily working inside, while the private offices were enclosed spaces with closed doors.

"This is our planning department," Ms. Han introduced to them, "Our employees receive at least several dozen orders for security systems daily, and during peak sales periods, this number could go well into the hundreds. These security systems often take one to three months to custom-design and install."

"One to three months?" Wolf repeated, then nodded slightly, "That is similar to our decoration timeline, it seems feasible to synchronize them."

"Indeed," Ms. Han agreed, "If the assembly of the security systems can be synchronized with the decoration works, it would certainly save quite a bit of time and manpower resources."

It reminded Jiang Shu of exam cheaters he had seen in school, who would sneakily watch the invigilating teacher and quietly shift their bodies to pull out a cheat sheet.

There was a curious parallel.

This also indicated that even during work, Sages Group’s employees couldn’t act as they pleased, as if an omnipresent "Big Brother" watched over them.

Jiang Shu shuddered at the thought; for someone like him accustomed to slacking off, this was a nightmare.
