"No need, I can go on my own," Jiang Shu shook his head as he looked toward the ten people whispering anxiously in the corner. "You’d better calm them down and keep them from messing up the plan."

With that, he quickly dashed out of the conference hall, leaving no chance for Wolf to follow him towards the laboratory with Xiao Jia. Rather than being a mascot here, he preferred the freedom to move about without any restrictions.

"Boom—" Just as he reached the door to Kirie’s office, Jiang Shu heard a loud noise coming from upstairs, followed by a series of dull footsteps.

Merely from the chaotic footsteps, he knew there were more than one person upstairs, at least ten.

"Others as well?" He was puzzled, but did not slow his actions. He unlocked the door and obtained the Mirror Paper that Kirie had prepared.

But would these people ensure no harm came to the police officers? Could it be that the Fox had changed?

That shouldn’t be the case, no one had provoked him, and such characters usually don’t shift their personalities so easily.

Jiang Shu got it and sprinted toward the conference hall, yelling a warning to the cops armed with steel guns as he passed through his own defences.

"Quick, get ready, the Deception Group is coming, there’s a lot of them!" He ran into the conference hall.

The conference hall was now empty, all the officers having been deployed to the outer defences, leaving only Wolf and Kirie in the room.

Jiang Shu looked around, then pointed toward an empty corner and called out to Wolf, "Come and help me set up the Mirror Paper."

He smiled, "Let’s give the Fox a surprise."
