Mineah found herself nodding in agreement. Rosela had a point, and she gave credit where credit was due.

"This only means that he’s still in love with my sister. The two of them shared a strong bond, and I am a living witness to their love for each other," Rosela seriously stated.

Zaila chuckled and proudly said, "But you handled it with grace, Your Majesty. You gave Rosela a good slap on her face, and you expressed your honest opinion to Queen Mother’s question."

Mineaah couldn’t help but smile at their words. She just hoped that her straightforwardness wasn’t misunderstood by the Queen Mother.

"Now, we need to be prepared. The visitation will start with the royal family first during lunch..." Dani informed the group.

"Niran will be there with Prince Raul. But I was wondering how you will have a private discussion with her, Milady," Dani questioned curiously.

It was not really a huge problem for Mineah as she could just read Niran and Raul’s minds to find what they truly felt for each other. Once she confirms whether they have genuine feelings for each other or not, she would fully support Niran’s choice. She also wouldn’t feel guilty about the fact that Niran had come to Valcrez to spy on her behalf.

"It’s alright, Dani. I will figure out a way. I feel a bit weak. I will have to meditate as soon as we arrive at the Amaranth Palace and regain my strength," Mineah murmured.

"It’s probably because you’re emotionally devastated. Stress and emotional turmoil can take a toll on one’s inner energy," Dani said with understanding.

Mineah remained silent, her mind filled with the weight of the information Seer Beirut had shared with her. She closed her eyes and steadied her breath to calm her heavy racing thoughts.

Seer Beirut’s final vision before his death echoed in her mind. He said that she would need to kill Nikolai with her own hands using the dagger he had included in the magical box. However, he had also mentioned that his vision was not too clear and that she should wait for his successor. The new Seer would give her a clear vision and guide her on how to proceed further.

Opening her eyes, Mineah bit her lower lip, anxious about what lay ahead. She desperately hoped that it wouldn’t come to the point of having to take Nikolai’s life just to save herself and innocent people from the chaos and death she would bring upon them once the blood moon arrives.

They arrived at the Amaranth Palace fairly quickly using a shortcut which reduced their travel time from Corvus complex.

"I will recharge first," Mineah murmured, pulling her three shadow maidens to meditate, absorbing the energy from the surrounding elements. Like usual, she borrowed a portion of energy from the three to replenish herself and returned the borrowed energy back to them after she was fully recharged.

"Now, let’s get you changed, Milady," Dani suggested, as the three started preparing her for a simpler dress. Krisha skillfully arranged her hair and placed the gold crown adorned with a vulture-sculpted symbol of Valcrez and embellished diamonds on the side, back in its rightful place.

Once appropriately dressed, Mineah proceeded to her own throne hall inside Amaranth Palace, albeit it was not as big as Nikolai’s throne hall.

"All hail, the presence of Her Majesty, Queen Mineah," Dani, who was recently promoted to the position of Mineah’s Vassal, announced when they reached the throne hall.

"All hail, Queen Mineah!" The visitors greeted in unison. With a warm smile, Mineah gracefully took her seat on the throne, her gaze scanning the guests on either side of the hall.

In front of her was a table with an array of delectable dishes laid out. Her eyes sparkled with anticipation as she couldn’t wait to dig in and taste everything.

Her shadow maidens were seated at a separate table right to her throne, while the tables on both sides were occupied by the Ichor Clan’s royal family.

In a rather playful mood, Mineah decided to tease Nikolai through their bond. [You have quite a large family here,] she said, trying to hide her smile from everyone.

[I know, but please don’t communicate telepathically unless it’s important. I don’t want you getting sick because of me Mine,] Nikolai scolded.

Mineah bit her inner lower lip and replied, [I can’t help it! I just really miss you. Anyway, I’ll start the small feast for your family now. See you later.]

Well, if she really wanted to see Nikolai, she could just do it with the help of Nik so she wasn’t too worried.

Her eyes darted to Niran before she said, "Prince Raul, as the head of the family present here today, I would be honored if you and your companion join me at my table."
