Mineah leaned in as she let herself drown in Nikolai’s gentle kiss. The fact that he made his confession extra romantic like this simply melted her heart. Heat radiated throughout her chest, her heart overwhelmed with content and yet somehow, she felt like her night was just getting started.

"That means..." Mineah breathed out after parting her lips with her husband, her thoughts failing her as she did her best to speak. "We can finally..."

"Take your time, Mine," Nikolai hummed as he stroked her hair. "We’re not going anywhere anytime soon."

Mineah took her advice to heart as she simply let him rock her back and forth to the music. Their food was seemingly forgotten, and the soft melody playing in the background allowed her to just bask in the atmosphere while she let her body follow along with his steps.

This was... He just said that he loved her. Somehow, just hearing those words made her entire being buoyant at how much emotion flooded into her chest. Even now as she felt his warm embrace envelop her, his loud and steady heartbeats practically booming in her ear as she leaned into his chest... Nikolai took that opportunity and firmly pressed his lips with hers. Mineah couldn’t help but moan just from that sensation alone, his soft lips and tongue doing wonders to her mouth as she felt the familiar feeling of pressure starting to build in her stomach.

"Everything will be alright, Mine. Nothing bad will happen to me because of my deep feelings for you, Nikolai whispered in between his kissing. "There’s no holding us back now, Mine. You’re all mine to take, my love."

Mineah could only muffle out her soft moans of surrender. Those words of assurance from him seemingly erased the remaining hesitation left in her. Right, she shouldn’t worry, everything would be fine.

The music in the background seemed to mimic her overflowing love as it ramped up its rhythm, its speed making their impromptu sway into a full dance as their feet swayed ever so slightly faster. With her feet on their toes, she did her best to deepen their connection, her arms hugging her husband tightly as he did the same to her.

Closing her eyes, she let out a soft moan as their kiss deepened once more. Their tongues twisted and turned with one another, both of them intermingling as they had a taste of one another. Likewise, Nikolai’s strong embrace practically lifted her up from her feet, and she didn’t even notice that he was already slowly carrying her back into their room.

With their lips still connected, they both ended up in their room once more. Mineah didn’t know what was happening, but the muted sounds of the music alerted her of their change in locations. But that wasn’t the only thing that alerted her at that moment.

"I love you so much, Mine," Nikolai breathed out as he gave her lips a small break, only for him to pepper her face with kisses before settling on her ear and giving her earlobe a light suckle. "You don’t know how much I’ve been waiting for this moment..."

Mineah felt her back hit the bed as Nikolai hovered over her. His intense gaze all but stripped her before she could even take her clothes off, his warm breaths tickling her nose in a way that she didn’t think would be even pleasurable to her.

Swallowing her apprehensions, she admitted, "I love you too, Lai..."

Her heart hammered as she uttered those words out. It was something that she already knew in her heart, and she finally said it to him.

"I also don’t know how it happened, but it did," she chuckled as she basked under her husband’s presence. "I didn’t think it would happen this fast, to be honest, but I’m glad that it did... You’re just that amazing of a man..."

"And you’re just that amazing of a woman as well, Mine," Nikolai whispered as he leaned in close, his breaths hitting the skin on her neck as he slowly made circles using his lips. "You taught me how to love again... to let go of the past and move on..."

"And you deserve it all," she quickly retorted even as she did her best not to moan from his ministrations. "You... You deserve to be loved too..."

Mineah gasped and moaned as Nikolai began to play with her body. Letting herself be taken by him, the bed beneath her almost seemed to creak the more her husband leaned into her body to shower her with his kisses. His hands were also following every nook and cranny of her curves, sending shivers down her spine as he methodically gave her an experience she would never forget.

She could only moan out his name as he kept up his loving ministrations. With her clothes seemingly being peeled off with each movement, the cold air of the room didn’t even faze her as she finally bared her all to him.

There was no coming back from this now. They were going to be connected, and there was nothing that would stop them.
