"How long are you planning to hold me?" Ye Chaochao asked coldly.

"Are you still going to run?" Ji Yanlin didn’t put Ye Chaochao down but just held her, looking down at her.

Ye Chaochao glanced at Ji Yanlin, then quietly averted her gaze, not saying a word.

"What? Did my sudden return disrupt your little affair?" Ye Chaochao countered.

He explained to Ye Chaochao, "I don’t know what got into her either!"

"Hmph!" Ye Chaochao scoffed and then shoved Ji Yanlin forcefully, "Put me down!"

"I won’t let go!" Ji Yanlin stated firmly.

He looked around and then carried Ye Chaochao straight to a nearby sofa to sit down, with Ye Chaochao sitting in his arms.
