In the following three days, Ye Wanwan insisted on getting up early every morning to go out with Shen Yi and send Zhouzhou to kindergarten, and then pick him up in the afternoon.

On Saturday, Shen Yi didn’t have to work overtime at the company, but having gotten used to waking up at a certain time, he naturally woke up when the time came.

"Today we don’t have to take Zhouzhou to school; let’s continue sleeping," Shen Yi said softly.

Ye Wanwan, still half-asleep, was confused for several seconds before saying, "Oh right, it’s Saturday today. Zhouzhou doesn’t have to go to school."

After saying that, Ye Wanwan pounced into Shen Yi’s arms, embracing him as she prepared to continue sleeping.

After lying quietly for a while, Ye Wanwan let go of Shen Yi and sighed deeply, "I can’t sleep anymore."

Shen Yi wasn’t sleepy either; he just hadn’t moved because Ye Wanwan was holding him.

He leaned in slightly, kissing the corner of Ye Wanwan’s lips, his voice slightly magnetic, "Not tired anymore?"

The two were face-to-face, very close. Ye Wanwan didn’t speak, somewhat shyly dodging to the side, but the next moment Shen Yi kissed her fully.

Ye Wanwan’s heart was racing, "thump thump," and she spoke in a very soft voice, "Zhouzhou is knocking on the door outside."

"I heard." Shen Yi shook his head, his face a mix of amusement and resignation.

He reached out to smooth back Ye Wanwan’s somewhat disheveled hair and said, "Let’s get up, I’ll go open the door."

Shen Yi got out of bed, straightening his pajamas as he walked over to open the door.

Zhouzhou was standing at the doorway, his hair a bit messy, still in his pajamas. Seeing the door open, he looked up at Shen Yi and called out endearingly, "Daddy."

"What’s the matter?" Shen Yi bent down to pick up Zhouzhou.

"Are we not going to school today?" Zhouzhou, looking at his father, asked in confusion.
