Lin Xu started asking Zhouzhou how his day at kindergarten was, and Zhouzhou obediently answered her questions.

It wasn’t until after the video call ended that Ye Wanwan and Shen Yi finally took Zhouzhou out for a walk.

"Watch where you’re going, Zhouzhou, or you’ll fall," Shen Yi cautioned as he continued walking forward, holding Zhouzhou’s hand.

However reluctant Zhouzhou was, as the distance grew, he could no longer see the little girl.

Once home, Shen Yi helped Zhouzhou take a bath. Ye Wanwan went to prepare Zhouzhou’s uniform for the next day; even though Mrs. Yang could do these tasks, Ye Wanwan still preferred to do them herself.

But after arranging everything, Ye Wanwan sat down to wait for Zhouzhou to finish bathing and found herself thinking about what he’d said that day.
