Chapter 47: Chapter 47 Fainting

Shen Yi’s voice was loud, and the person inside the restroom surely could hear it.

However, Shen Yi didn’t wait for Ye Wanwan’s response; the restroom was unusually quiet.

Shen Yi’s heartbeat thundered, he couldn’t care less if there were other people in the restroom and charged in directly.

The next moment, Shen Yi saw Ye Wanwan collapsed on the ground.

"Wanwan!"

Shen Yi rushed over quickly, and as he knelt down, his knee slammed hard onto the ground, but he had no time to care about that, and the bag in his hand was thrown to the side.

"Wanwan!" Shen Yi picked up Ye Wanwan, who was lying unconscious on the cold floor, and a sharp pain suddenly shot through his head.

The pain felt like a needle had been suddenly jabbed into his brain, causing a momentary blankness, but he still instinctively tried to pick Ye Wanwan up.

But just as he lifted Ye Wanwan, he staggered, nearly falling to the ground.

Shen Yi, holding Ye Wanwan, ran outside, naturally attracting the attention of the auction’s staff and the guests who hadn’t left.

Some staff approached to ask what was wrong, but Shen Yi didn’t respond and headed straight for the main entrance.

They were originally planning to leave, and the driver had already brought the car to the entrance to wait.

The driver, sitting in the car, saw the situation from a distance, his expression immediately turning serious, and he quickly got out to open the rear car door.

"What happened to Madam?" the driver asked anxiously.

"To the hospital!" Shen Yi said gravely.

"Oh, okay!" Without any hesitation, the driver closed the door after them and also hurriedly got into the car, starting the engine quickly to rush to the hospital.

Shen Yi looked down at Ye Wanwan, who was unconscious in his arms, and it seemed like many surreal images flashed hazily through his mind.

He raised his hand wanting to brush away a strand of hair sticking to her cheek, but discovered his hand was trembling.

As he touched her cheek, Shen Yi felt a sharp pain in his heart.

He subconsciously tightened his hold on Ye Wanwan, pressing her cheek against his chest.

"It’s okay, it’s okay!" Shen Yi’s voice trembled as he softly murmured the words, not sure who he was trying to reassure.

In just over ten minutes, they arrived at the hospital.

Shen Yi carried Ye Wanwan and rushed into the hospital, and a nurse immediately came over to help upon seeing the situation.

Ye Wanwan was taken to the emergency room, and after the doctors asked about her medical history and current condition, Shen Yi answered briefly, then got pushed aside by a crowd of doctors and nurses.

Shen Yi wanted to step forward but was worried about disturbing the doctors, so he could only stand at a distance and watch.

A few doctors and nurses surrounded the bed for a flurry of checks, until finally, an intern muttered in bewilderment, "All her vital signs are normal?"

The individuals who had been conducting various basic checks around Ye Wanwan all stopped their actions, the numbers on the monitor indicating to them that the patient was perfectly normal.

"How is she?" Shen Yi had been watching the whole time, and seeing the medical staff stop, he immediately stepped forward to ask.

One of the doctors looked at Shen Yi and explained, "The patient’s vital signs are all normal right now. As for why she suddenly fainted, we will need to do further detailed examinations."

"She’s alright now?" Shen Yi frowned tightly, skepticism in his eyes.
