Not until Shen Yi called out "Wanwan" again did Ye Wanwan fully come to her senses and ask the Shen Yi on the line, "Shen Yi, where are you now?"

As the video connected, Ye Wanwan saw the scene on Shen Yi’s side. He appeared to be in a car, and through the rain-obscured windows, it was hard to see clearly.

"Look, I’m safe right now." Shen Yi held the phone a bit farther away so that Ye Wanwan could see his situation.

Ye Wanwan sniffled and asked, "But where exactly are you? What now? Are you just going to stay in the car?"

"I’m at Yunling Mountain. Have you been here before? To ascend the mountain, you have to cross a bridge. That place is too low, so it got flooded quickly after the downpour started, and that’s why I can’t get across now."

Ye Wanwan had been to that place; the mountain was full of maple trees, and it looked particularly beautiful in the autumn, so she had visited many times.
