Shen Yi’s face was stern as he walked all the way to his office door before stopping.

He was still somewhat irritable, tugging at his tie without haste to enter. Standing outside his office, he calmed himself for a dozen seconds before pushing the door and entering.

After Fang Xian had entered, Hai Li exchanged glances with a few other colleagues and then they all simultaneously broke into laughter.

About twenty minutes later, Fang Xian came out of the office with reddened eyes.

Fang Xian returned to her desk to start packing her belongings, and Hai Li, feigning concern, asked, "Miss Fang, what happened to you? Why are you crying? Did Mr. Dewen scold you?"

Fang Xian just looked up at Hai Li. In her reddened eyes, nothing but cold indifference showed.
