"Alright, I won’t go," Shen Yi nodded in agreement.

Both of them went upstairs together, with Ye Wanwan heading back to her bedroom to catch up on sleep, while Shen Yi went to the study.

But after sitting down at his desk, Shen Yi didn’t start working right away; instead, he just sat there, lost in thought.

He couldn’t remember anything that happened after he had fallen asleep the night before, not even his own fever.

However, there was one thing he did remember, that upon waking up in the morning, his subconscious believed that Ye Wanwan was gone!

This wasn’t the first time he had felt that Ye Wanwan was dead; he had dreamed of it before when Wanwan was no longer there.

Shen Yi couldn’t understand why he had such terrifying and inexplicable thoughts.

Wanwan was fine, so how could she just be gone?

He was easily anxious and restless; he couldn’t help worrying whenever he couldn’t see Ye Wanwan, especially after she had been injured repeatedly, which pushed his irritability to a critical point.

This was the only solution Shen Yi could think of; he couldn’t keep Ye Wanwan at home every day, so he had to arrange for someone to be around her instead.

Ye Wanwan resignedly said, "Isn’t this a bit too extravagant?"
