This is not your typical cultivation novel. There is almost no face slapping and the story was well structured from start to end. Plot repetition doesn't exist and plot twists are well done. All the characters are likeable and the comedy is excellent in this novel.

If you hate harems then this may not be your cup of tea but I enjoyed this novel from start to finish.(Wished the story continued) But I was overall happy with how it ended.

I recommend my fellow readers to give this a try.

Before you click of the novel, this IS a chinese martial arts novel, BUT it is actually done very nicely. First of all, as you can see from the chapter amount, there is no Upper, Lower, Middle, blah blah, heavens/realms or whatever you wanna call it. There is the mortal world and cultivation world, which are on the same realm, just seperated from each other. So, there is no "Weak -> You Courting Death -> Strong -> Kill those who dare defy him -> Ascend -> Weak Again -> repeat until reader loses brain cells.". I will write with almost no spoilers, everything you read from this review is either (A) in the first couple of chapters and (B) really small details which in no way impact the reading. This is a transmigration story, where the MC gets inside the cultivation game. Now, there are many differences between this and your typical xianxia or xuanhuan, First of all, our MC is not your typical horny young guy who is trying to sate his thirst. He actually, for almost 200 chapters is preserving himself and dogding bullets left and right from lasses. This is a harem, so you can guess that the toad croaked after a while. Now, the harem is not very large and the FMCs have personality and are not really there to be beatiful. They all have their quality. Why they are attracted to our MC? well... he kinda handsome. There is also the aspect that he is smart, decisive, strong and does not flirt with women, which they probably see that and think: "oh sh*t, he husband material". So the harem is done tastefully, BUT, it could have been done better. In my opinion, this novel should have had a couple of more arcs, I would say around 1000 total (so around 400 more than completion), to solidify even further the characters. This is certainly not because I want to read more of this story, certainly not. Despite the blatant sarcasm, I really believe that the story should have been extented a bit more. The story itself is, ehm, good?. It starts solid, continues being solid and ends solid. No real complains there. It is certainly no Mastermind level plot, but is is very enoyable, especilly the start. Maybe a bit more worldbuilding, because the world feels a bit small, just because a lot is named but never explored. To me, this novel feels as if the author wanted to finish it quickly. There is no blanant rushing in story development, it just feels like the author had to finish, so despite mentioning a lot, not everything is actually explored. And this is not me coping for wishing more chapters (even though I do want more). Now, here are some 'negatives' people have brought up elsewhere: Devolves to generic harem, the sister is brainless and just simps for the MC, no high-stakes fights, female characters feel that they become unimportant after their arcs, MC kinda creepy(?). Besides the last one, which I'll mention seperately, the rest are kinda 'what you feel' things, as in people feel them in different intensities. The 'devolves to generic harem' can be due to focusing more on the romance part at around 200 chapters in (which I though was good), 'sister is brainless' is due to building up dependancy on her brother (MC), 'no high-stake fights' I mean ... if you wish to read a tragedy, there are plenty of depressing novels out there, 'females become unimportant after their arcs', personally there is only 2 females characters which might feel so, but it is due to the fact they live far away geographically-wise. The last part, about the MC being creepy (?), is due to him preserving himself about a character which he really liked when playing the game. Unfortunately, when our mc is like 16-18, she 6, so yeah, she young as hell. Now, I am not defending predators, because I hate those sick f*cks, but the MC is not really one. I believe, on multiple occassions, he mentions of waiting for her to become older. There were no grooming thoughts in the beginning, and when they met later (when she was still young, he just gave her a manual, nothing more, nothing less. I can not remember if any 'weird' interactions happened, but I at least can not remember feeling disgusted. I am rather positive that people were just overreacting. To sum up, good harem (could be better if longer novel), solid story, comedy focus (forgot to say this), action-packed. If you disagree with me, well it happens. Give it a try, if you do not like it, just stop reading.

I love the story, not a typical Chinese martial art cliche novel with YOU'RE COURTING DEATH here and "YOU'RE COURTING DEATH" there, the Mc also not stupid, and the other characters intellect can be seen, the plot story also not lowering the others IQ to show how Mc was smarter than them, hell this story is even taking some sprinkles from korean fantasy novels that I read about magic and stuffs, god this story is the best, the only thing is this story kinda slow for the update of chapters but I'm happy btw
