Chapter 98: She Was In Trouble

Leon was stunned to see Allynna at his side, frowning at Xavier.

Did she realize this man was related to her by blood?

"Allynna..." Leon calls her softly. When the girl sees him in the eyes, he smiles dotingly at her and holds her hand. "This is my best friend, Xavier Moon. He’s one of the brightest generals in the Empire’s military command." Leon said. Then Leon gazed at Xavier, standing a few meters from them. He said to Xavier, "This is Allynna Frost, my fiance."

Xavier greeted his little sister with mixed feelings. It was like there was a wave inside him. He was overwhelmed with the emotions he was feeling right now. "Hai, Lady Allynna Frost, it’s nice to meet you," Xavier said and walked a few steps to see her more clearly.

This is the first time he saw his sister’s face this close. Her face looks so much like their mother when she was a teenager. It amazes him how beautiful his little sister is. He can’t blink, his eyes just staring at her. He wants to know everything about her as many thoughts fill up his mind now. But what Xavier feels is different from Allynna. The way Xavier stares at her makes her feel uneasy.

Allynna immediately turned her gaze to Leon. She was stunned because Leon looked so calm. She can feel Leon did not look jealous even when Xavier looked deeply at her.

Doesn’t he always get upset when other people see her the way Xavier does?

She clearly remembers several times Leon likes to send a dead gaze or warning to men who pay attention to her, like Helan. But, now, he was entirely at ease. As if he considered Xavier, not his foe. She felt Leon’s attitude was strange.

Leon looked at the girl with a warm smile.

He knows exactly what is in her mind now. But Leon has decided that she doesn’t need to know about her real brother. At least for now. He ignored her restlessness and led her to a seat at the wooden bench not far from where they were standing.

When they arrive, Leon swings his hand slightly, and instantly a few wrapped sandwiches and coffee appear on the long wooden table."Let’s have breakfast...." Leon said. And he also calls Xavier to join them.

Xavier immediately followed them and sat at the bench opposite them.

After a few seconds pass, Leon stops to eat his sandwich and slowly looks at the girl beside him. He silently chuckled while looking into her jade-like eyes, which stared back at him. He satisfied his eyes, looking at her beautiful face and radiant eyes.

After a few moments, Leon brought his face closer to hers, "Start eating your breakfast, Allynna...." He whispers her name deep and tenderly near her ear.

Allynna’s body froze when she heard his charming voice rang in her ear, and his warm breath brushed against her cold earlobe. It felt like something magical arose deep in her heart. Then she felt Leon move his head slightly away.

Slowly she looked at him. When she saw his golden eyes spark, instantly she thought she was in trouble, afraid Leon would kiss her in front of Xavier. She knows how capable this man is when showing his affection. Even in front of Leovaris, he did not hesitate to do so.

Hurriedly she answered him, "Yes, Your Highness..." She immediately looked at the fruit sandwich before her and started eating.

A soft chuckle escaped from Leon’s mouth, "Allynna... don’t look nervous. It’s okay. You can call me as usual in front of Xavier. He is my best friend, who I treat like my own brother. He is not an outsider. Not by a mile." Leon said. Allynna nodded while continuing to eat her sandwich. Right now, he couldn’t think clearly.

A few moments later, they finished eating and enjoyed warm coffee. No one speaks. They seem to enjoy the coffee while looking at the scenery below, which looks even more fantastic with a warm cup of coffee.

Allynna was mesmerized by the vast forest. As far as the eyes could see, looking at the endless rows of green trees. She couldn’t imagine how big this forest was. She also can see the forbidden forest below. The three in that area have colorful leaves. It feels like it is autumn, very different from the other side of the green mountain.

Seeing the beautiful Forbidden Forest, her stomach swirls at the thought of the Red Eyes Monster nearly taking her life. Then, The White Fluffy Cat appeared in her mind.

This is the first time she remembers the cute cat after the accident. The cat helped her. He risks his life to give her time to run and distract the monster to slaughter her.

Where’s the cat who can talk to her? Is he okay?

Allynna turned her gaze to Leon... "Brother Leon, can we go to the forbidden forest?" She had to find the cat. She had to say thank you to the cat and if possible, she wanted to pet him.

Leon furrowed his brow. He deeply exhaled when he heard Allynna’s thoughts.

"Do you want to find the cat that appeared to you during the accident?" Asked Leon, revealing that he had read her mind. Allynna nodded quickly. "Well, I looked at the cat, but I couldn’t find his trace. No worries, he will be fine because my people didn’t find any trace of blood near the waterfall after I brought you to the castle...." Leon said.

Allynna looked disappointed to hear that. She really wanted to find the cat. It must be fun to own a pet that can talk to her. What’s more, the cat looks so adorable. She will not be lonely anymore if the cat can stay with her. She will carry the fluffy white cat everywhere by keeping him in her mind-space, which is now more spacious and organized.

In there, Allynna has planted various vegetation. The most favorite plant would be the red rose flower originating from White Island. Now, Her mind-space looks like a beautiful garden with a small house. Her plan next time is to create a pond and bring many life things inside.

So far, she has been able to keep living things in her space. She holds the fairy butterfly in her mind-space. Strangely, the Fairy Butterfly that she took from the white island can talk to her. Something that made her still confused till now. All the creatures found on the white island can communicate with her. How strange!

When Leon and Allynna were talking about the Forbidden Forest, Xavier’s heart suddenly hardened when he remembered Leon’s story last night.

His little sister was almost killed by the Red Eye Monster. Trying to control his emotions, he listened to their conversation in silence while trying his best to calm his upset heart.

However, suddenly their conversation turned to cats.

Does his sister like cats? Does he want to raise a cat?

Xavier continued to hear them, but his eyes never left his sister. He watched her every move. Wanting to satisfy his eyes. If possible, he would like to take a photo of his sister and show it to his mother. His mother would surely rejoice if she knew his little sister was still alive and growing into a beautiful young lady.

Soon, Xavier saw her face suddenly turn, saddened by Leon’s words. He was confused.
