Helan was shocked beyond words when he heard Lizzy. He immediately looked at Allynna.

"Ally, tell us what really happened to you. Don’t hide anything from us, so we can help you escape from this forced engagement." Helan said. His face looks so intense with genuine concern. He feels sad about Allynna’s misfortune; she has a miserable life. After her parents died, her family sold her to a palace.

Was she really sold to become an Emperor concubine?

Helan glanced at Ikaris, who was standing far from them. He now suspected Ikaris was one of the Emperor’s men. He accompanied Allynna to guard her. The way he carried himself near Allynna was very suspicious. He looked like a guard or servant rather than a cousin.

"I’m not forced nor joining Emperor harem." Allynna smiles when her friends look more relaxed. She continued, "But, I am engaged to the Emperor’s son." She said calmly.

Finally, she felt better after telling the truth. No more secrets between them. Allynna quietly sat back on the sofa. She smiled happily at her two friends, who were now absorbing her words.

The news that she was engaged to the Emperor’s son must have surprised her two friends. She was not in a hurry to explain more details to them. She waits until they regain their senses.

"My Gosh!! Lady Allynna Frost! Are you engaged to a 12-year-old boy? H-how could you agree? You are five years older than him...." Lizzy almost choked when she heard Allynna engaged with Tristan, the Emperor’s son, from his concubine.

Helan’s face turns pale when he hears that. Allynna’s family was truly savage. How can they sell, no, force her to be engaged to a minor? Do they want Allynna to raise the Emperor’s son? Become his aunt?

This cannot be tolerated. Helan feels obliged to find a way to help his best friend out of this matchmaking problem. Helan turns to see Lizzy beside him before saying,

"Liz, we should help Ally to get out of this arranged marriage. I can ask my family for help, but I also need you to ask your father for help. Your father can become Allynna’s guardian. He must take Ally to become your family member." Helan said. His brows furrowed, showing how serious he was right now.

Lizzy immediately understands Helan’s plan. She nods fast then says, "Of course, Helan. I’ll help. I’m sure my dad would agree with the idea too. How could they force Ally to marry a teen? Gosh!!" Lizzy’s eyes flashed with anger.

Allynna "..."

She was utterly speechless.

Now she wishes Leon would appear. So, she does not need to explain to her dim-witted friends. She felt exhausted talking to them, whose IQ suddenly returned to its starting point, ZERO!

"Ikaris, can you give me some water?" Instantly she felt thirsty. Her throat was so dry because she was tired of talking to them.
