Ikaris focused on driving the car. Occasionally he stole glances at Lady Allynna behind through the rearview mirror. He saw the lady keep silent without saying a single word to him.

This was the second time he had met her. He had no information about her to start a conversation with. He just found out about her family in Sarlun. But he firmly believed that the information was false. He knows the crown prince made it that way on purpose.

Even though out of four people the Crown Prince confidants, he was the smartest among them in technology, especially hacking. However, he couldn’t find the slightest clue about Lady Allynna after trying so many times. He will never defeat the Crown Prince Eleon firewall system. He was top-notch among people in this empire. As if he has a divine mind. He was the creator of this kind of advanced tech in this empire.

Now, Ikaris felt complicated in his heart.

He needed to make Lady Allynna feel comfortable with him and not feel as awkward as she was now. They are cousins. They should look close and familiar to each other, right?

He had received orders from the Crown Prince to be her bodyguard disguised as a cousin. And because of this assignment, he was forced to go to college again. Even when he was 12 years old, he had devoured all the knowledge of college students... so there was no point in him having to go to college anymore.

After so many deep sighs in his heart, Ikaris finally tried to speak to her...

"Lady Allynna, please don’t feel awkward with me..." Ikaris’s words make Allynna look at him. He continued, "His Highness assigned me to be your bodyguard. So, from now on, I will guard you everywhere you go. Hence I hope you don’t feel awkward with me anymore...."

"Ikaris, I know. I will try." Allyna smiles. She has the same thought as Ikaris.

They had to quickly thaw the awkwardness between them. What’s more, she will soon meet her best friend. Lizzy is smart enough to swiftly guess that Ikaris is not her cousin but a bodyguard if she still feels awkward and shows distance with Ikaris now.

Ikaris nodded.

He also smiles at her, but suddenly his face turns stiff when he sees Lady Allynna extending her hand for a handshake.

"L-Lady Allynna! No. Sorry, I can’t accept your handshake. His highness will kill me if he knows that...’’ He said in a hurry and focused again on driving the car ignoring Lady Allynna’s hand.

"Ikaris, we just shake hands... What are you afraid of?" Allynna said cluelessly.

"Lady Allynna, you are our future emperor’s wife. How could a low servant like us touch your skin?"

Allynna was about to cry now. How could there be such a weird rule?

Seeing Ikaris’ pale face grow paler. Allynna gave up her intention to shake hands with him. She sat back in her place, casually looking out the window.

Soon, their car stopped at the passenger arrival location. There is an exclusive parking lot for vehicles with the royal palace emblem. Ikaris parked the car in that place.

"Ikaris, this is a special parking lot for the royal family. Is it okay for you to park here?" Allynna was worried. Because right now, they were using an unmarked car. She deliberately asked Leon to lend her the cheapest car, and there was no crown prince emblem on the vehicle. She didn’t want to be too flashy.

"Lady Allynna, don’t worry. No one will dare to ask us!" Ikaris’ playful smile while looking ahead. But a second later, his face turned stiff when he saw two guards approaching their car. Silently he cursed that Guard in his heart.

"That’s good then...so we will be safe here waiting for my friends to arrive," Allynna said while she took her cellphone to check her friend’s position. Have they landed or not?

Ikaris, who didn’t think the Guard would appear so quickly, became irritated. At first, he thought they wouldn’t be parking in that place for long, and the Guard wouldn’t show up. But what he thought was different.

So, now Ikaris has to come down from the car and talk to the guards. Something he didn’t like; talking to strangers. He will run out of energy when he has to talk much. He prefers playing with his keyboard or watching something on his laptop. When he was given the task of being Lady Allynna’s bodyguard and had to go to college again, Ikaris felt like he was being punished by the Crown Prince.

"Lady Allynna, I’m going down for a while to greet the guards. Please, just stay in the car."

Allynna nodded. Then she played with her cellphone again. She didn’t realize that at this moment, Ikaris’ face was irritated like he wanted to hit someone.

"Who is this idiot who dares to park in the royal family’s premises? Is he tired of enjoying his life?" Said the Guard, who was wearing sunglasses. He is the leader of the brown-haired Guard.

"Yeah! Another stupid brat...Look the young lord getting out of his car. Looks like he is just a noble nerd." A mocking smile appeared on the face of the Guard with brown hair.

"You better settle this in a hurry. We have other tasks to complete. I heard a senior member of Royal Intel will be arriving at this airport. We have to make sure there is no problem at the airport." The guard leader said. One of his dreams is to enter the royal intelligence. Unfortunately, he is not intelligent and talented enough to join the elite division. And he ended up being the guard leader at this airport.

"Yes, sir. I will." Said the brown-haired Guard. He immediately approached the young lord, who looked nerdy in front of him. "Lord, sorry you can’t park here. Please move your car right now or...." Before the brown-haired Guard finished speaking, Ikaris took a card from his pocket and showed it to the Guard in front of him.

"These lowly people are always looking for trouble?" Ikaris scolds this Guard in his heart.
