The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince
Chapter 46: I Chose You

Chapter 46: I Chose You

Like being struck by lightning, Allynna was so embarrassed and didn’t know what else to say. Brother Leon was respectable and friendly to her, but she often wanted to stay away from him. Even recently, she tried to suppress her feelings so as not to fall in love with him.

"Brother Leon, I’m really sorry...." She looked at him while saying, "Sometimes what I thought in my mind is not true. Please don’t take it to your heart, ok?"

While he touches his golden signet in his little finger, a faint smile appears on his dainty face.

For a few seconds, he only stared at Allynna.

After he saw the girl’s cheek turn crimson, he finally said... "Which one? You want our relationship to end before you turn eighteen?" Leon asks her in his calm voice.

He could understand why she thought that because he scared her. He asked her to marry him at their first meeting. Just like any other woman, of course, she would feel perplexed and scared.

"Brother Leon, would you mind ignoring that? Nothing that I had thought was really serious. I mean, back then, I was still completely ignorant about who you are..." She hid her head looking down. Now she feels regretful ever thinking about that. She does know that Brother Leon may look indifferent to her on the outside, but he actually isn’t. He cared about her so much. He has shown a lot of kindness and care for her since they met in the past few weeks.

"I know, and I don’t care how you thought of me back then," Leon said. Allynna raises her head to look him in the eyes. "That being said, I need you to know something, Allynna. I will never let you go, and I can’t let you go. You will become my wife. Don’t waste your time thinking about how to get away from me. Because it’s useless. The universe wants us to be together. I trust you understand what I’m saying now. Do you?"

Allynna was hypnotized at his words. She quickly nodded.

"Good! And stop thinking weird things... Like my parents will not like you, or that you are not equal with me. Please just stop it. Can you?"

Allynna doesn’t know how to react. All she knows now, she is grateful Brother Leon has chosen her to be his bride. But does she really deserve to be with him?

She couldn’t just ignore this. Because she still can’t understand... Why did a crown prince choose her? There must be a lot of noblewomen out there better than her and more worthy of being his bride.

Leon smiled. Hearing her unconfident thoughts could be fun sometimes.

"Allynna, will you stop overthinking about me? About us?" Their eyes meet. He continued, "Can you just be yourself? And while you are at it, could you see me without my status as crown prince? See me as Leon... your future husband?"

She slightly nods.

"And... What you need to keep in your mind and heart is, I chose you and only you. No one else will be able to change my choice. Even my own father...." His golden eyes shone, and a gentle smile appeared on his face.

Allynna was shocked by his words. It was like there was a storm inside her. Her heart beat faster, and her mind went blank for a moment. They just stared at each other for a moment.

After a long while, she turns her gaze to see her feet. She couldn’t bear to see Brother Leon for too long. She was too shy, but at the same time, too happy to hear his answer... He chose me! Brother Leon chose me! His response was enough to make her feel more confident to stand by his side.

"Did you understand what I said, Allynna?" He asks.

"I understand, brother..." She said softly, but she still kept her head lower. She was too shy to see him.

Towards midnight, they left the restaurant.

"This city lives 24 hours, huh...." She quietly talked to herself when she saw that the restaurant was still full of visitors.

"Yes. You’re right... is there any other place you want to visit?"

"No. I want to go home. I feel a little bit tired...." Allynna said. She wanted to go home immediately because she had just realized that she had not contacted Helan and Lizzy since arriving in this city. They must be worried about her.

In no time, they arrived at the underground lobby.

Just like when Leon and Allynna came, no other visitors passed them in the elevator and the parking lot.

When they approached the car, he opened the car door for her.

"Thank you, brother..." She whispered and got into the car.

Before Leon could close the car door for Allynna, someone called him. Suddenly Leon’s face turned stiff when he heard a familiar man’s voice from behind his car.

"Allynna, you wait for me for a moment." He said calmly and closed the car door after making sure Allynna was seated safely.

He turned to see the man who called him, he saw two men standing not too far from him. The tall, brown short-haired man, wearing a dark green long coat, and the man beside him, a round-shaped face with dark curly hair, is wearing a fancy grey coat.

"Your highness..." They both greeted Leon with a respectful voice and slightly bowed to him.

"What are you guys doing here?" He asks them while leaning in the car. Leon is blocking the view of both of them, who are trying to take a peek into his vehicle.

"We happened to be out of dinner in this place, Your highness... who is the young lady in your car if you don’t mind me asking?" The man with a dark green long coat asks Leon.

"Mind your own business, Xavier!" He said in his low and threatening voice. Making Xavier, who heard it, instantly freeze.

"Your Highness, we didn’t know you were having dinner here. If we had known, we would have come to greet you. Sorry for our inattention, your highness.." Darren said, trying to back up Xavier, who was now being scolded.

"I will go now. We will talk again later...." He said and left them.

Allynna, who was sitting in the car, could see two tall men chatting with brother Leon. Even though they spoke in low voices, she could still hear what they were saying. It seemed the two men were his close friends.

She heard the name of the man who first spoke to him, Xavier. He looked so tall like brother Leon, with short dark brown hair with a diamond-shaped face. Allynna was stunned when she saw his eyes. His eyes were similar to her eyes’ color, green.

And the man next to him is not too tall and has a round face and curly black hair. She did not hear his name being called. But Allynna could immediately remember him because his face looked pale.

And later, she saw brother Leon leaving them and walking towards the driver’s seat. She sat straight and turned her face forward.
