Chapter 340: Royal Wedding (5)
In the backyard with a mountain background, there’s a stage with a vast flower backdrop. The flower dominates with white color, making the altar look so beautiful.
Many butterflies are roaming around the flower. They look like decorations that make the flowers look alive and more attractive. Someone with divine eyes could see that all the butterflies are not really butterflies but fairy butterflies.
"Helan, look at the butterfly..." Lizzy sitting in the back row was amazed to see something she had never seen with her own eyes. She just read in the book that there were still many magical creatures like fairy butterflies in the past, but they vanished in the last few hundred years. Now she can see them freely flying in this place. It makes her astonished.
"They really exist! I thought it was just a myth...." Helan whispered softly to Lizzy. Worried that those around them heard how tacky they were. Then Helan’s eyes landed on his assistant professor, Clive Reymys, who sat with Anders Moon, Allynna’s twin brother. In addition to the two people he recognized, he also saw several young ladies from the prestigious nine powerful families. Same with them, waiting for the wedding ceremony to start.
The wedding ceremony will start in about an hour. The sound of the orchestra made the atmosphere more lively. Helan can also hear everyone busy talking with their partner or friends while enjoying snacks and drinks in several spots. His eyes wandered around, looking at people he was familiar with. But, he didn’t see the rest of Allynna’s family and the royal family, only Anders Moon and Clive Reymys, who arrived at the venue.
"Helan, we can’t be exposed here. Or will put our friend in danger..." Lizzy whispers again as her sharp eyes look at Korina Dazro and Amber Diregra. These two ladies are so vicious. Several times they deliberately seek trouble with them. If these two snobbish ladies found out they were attending this party, they would definitely be in a real problem, just like when they first met them at The Crown Restaurant last year.
At first, Lizzy was not afraid of these two brainless young ladies, but after hearing the news that one of the reasons Gwen Pearchy became crazy was them. They make Gwen a lunatic young lady because they compete to get the Crown Prince’s attention.
Thinking about how vicious these two ladies are, makes Lizzy worried about Allynna. She hopes Allynna is more potent than them so she can protect herself from the women out there who want to steal Crown Prince Eleon’s heart.
"I agree! That’s why you should stop calling my name, sweety!" Helan looked at Lizzy as he smiled widely at her blushing face.
Lizzy could only hide her shy face as she turned her gaze to the altar, but she was distracted when she saw Korina Dazro talking to a handsome man beside her. She didn’t recognize the man, but looking at his face, he probably was older than Korina. Korina’s brother? Lizzy guessed.
Not long after, Lizzy saw Korina leaving her seat. She thought that girl must go to the powder room.
At the same time, from the second floor of the castle,
Allynna was standing at the window, looking at the garden where her wedding ceremony this afternoon would be held. She can see the backyard turn pretty. There’s an aisle with white rose petals flanked by rows of gold chairs decorated with white and pink pale roses. At the end of the corridor is an altar with a vast flower background.
"It’s so beautiful..." Allynna mumbled praise to Clavelina and her mother for arranging all of this. And, when her eyes noticed a few fairy butterflies flying, she was excited. She knew her fairy butterfly Pinky must be somewhere to ensure her wedding went well.
"I thought only a handful of people were present... but there were about fifty people." Allynna can see a lot of young ladies and gentlemen with their parents coming. She could also see her two best friends, Helan and Lizzy, sitting in the back row. Even though they are now wearing fake faces, she still clearly sees them because she also wears her divine eye device.
"Of course, My Lady! If only your condition is good. Her Majesty will invite a thousand people to celebrate your wedding...." Lella answers Allynna as she makes a bed for her to take a rest before she goes down.
Allynna did not bother Lella’s words because now her eyes saw Korina Dazro talking to a man beside her. She focused on hearing their thoughts, and she was stunned. Her body shivered, feeling worried.
"My Lady, you better lay down first. You still have 30 minutes to take a rest, my Lady...." Lella walks beside Allynna as she also peeks outside. She was grateful because Crown Prince Eleon allowed her to come here to help Lady Allynna. So, she can see her Lady getting married.
This time Allynna didn’t refuse Lella. But she asks her to find a cake or fresh fruit because her stomach rumbles again. She felt hungry and craved sweet food.
Not long after, Lella came back. She brings white cold milk with fresh fruit on a gold tray. Allynna glances at her with a smile as she asks Lella to put the tray on the table.
"How are things out there, Lella?" Allynna walked to the white sofa and sat looking at Lella.
"Lively, my lady!" Lella slightly bowed as she stood not far from Allynna. "My Lady, hurry, drink your milk while it’s still cold...."
Allynna, who wanted a cold drink, immediately drank the cold, fresh milk and emptied it. Before she tried to place the empty glass on the table, she felt her hands limp and her eyes heavy.
"Lella... you... what did you give me?" Allynna’s voice was barely heard in just a few seconds her head hit the sofa. Her eyes still catch Lella’s cold smile framing her little face.
She fainted!
