The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince -
Chapter 331: Brainless
Chapter 331: Brainless
In the front yard of Moon Castle.
Felix Moon, who had just appeared in the front yard, paused for a moment when he saw someone stuck to the front wall of the Castle. He stepped forward to take a closer look at who it was.
After they were only a few meters apart, Felix Moon was astonished to see the figure clinging to the wall. He frowned as he walked closer.
"What are you doing there?" Felix Moon asked confusedly. Why was his eldest son stuck in a wall-like part of a castle facade? Was he trying out a new hiding technique?
This was the worst hiding technique Felix Moon had ever seen in his entire military career. And he wouldn’t recommend this to his squad. Obviously, his eldest son failed to execute his technique.
As if seeing his God of help, Xavier’s gloomy-looking face started to brighten again. After a few minutes of hanging here, it felt like his whole body froze. Luckily he could still channel the heat into his body, allowing him to survive without turning into a block of ice. He can’t believe his shameless little sister had the heart to punish him like this.
"Father! Help me..." Finally, Xavier could make a sound. After a while, every time he shouted, no matter how loud it was, not the slightest sound was heard. He couldn’t call for help. Worse yet, his throat felt in pain. It felt unbearable. Every time he swallowed, he felt like he was eating a razor.
At the same time, not a single maid passed by. Xavier could only pray in his heart that his father or grandfather would appear.
God bless him, his father appeared when he started to feel tired.
Xavier immediately told his father what had happened. But he didn’t tell him why his sister punished him. Xavier knows that if his father knew his sister punished him because he punched the Crown Prince, maybe his father would punish him even more. So, he just told his father that he had lost a bet with his sister.
"So, this is punishment because you lost the bet?" Felix Moon really couldn’t believe what he had just heard. How can his son challenge his younger sister to bet when his younger sister can read and manipulate others’ minds? It was the same as giving up his life without a fight. How brainless Xavier is!
"Yes, father!" Xavier answered as he tried to move his legs. He felt delighted when he felt his legs slightly move. He can control his muscles now. "Can you release me first, father?"
Felix Moon slowly raised his right hand. A thin white light rushed towards Xavier from the tip of his finger. Then, the white light seemed to wrap around Xavier’s body. Moments later, there was a ’groan’ sound as Xavier’s body fell to the ground. In a hurry, Felix Moon approached his eldest son and helped him up.
"How could you provoke your sister?" Felix Moon’s voice sounded angry. "You know her ability is strong, but you are still risking yourself? How stupid you are!" After Felix scolded his stupid son, he rushed into the house, impatient to meet his little daughter.
Xavier still can’t move freely because his legs aren’t strong enough to walk. He tried to send his inner strength into his lower dantian to heal his weak legs. After some time, Xavier felt better and could move his feet as usual. He felt relieved because his sister didn’t cripple his legs.
What his father said was true. His sister was getting stronger day by day. He shouldn’t have provoked his sister, or he would really have died. But, as an older brother, his pride was slightly hurt. How could his sister punish him like that?
Xavier hastily entered the house with an annoying feeling still lingering in his heart and mind. He would find time to talk to his sister and tell her to respect him as an older brother. He would wait until the Crown Prince was not by her side.
"Father..." Allynna stood up from her seat and immediately walked over to her father. She buried her head in his broad chest.
"Little princess... I’m so glad you came back sooner." Felix Moon couldn’t hide how much he missed his little daughter. He kisses the top of her hair as she asks her to sit again and continue her lunch. Then his eyes saw his son-in-law still sitting casually on his chair.
"Son-in-law..." Felix immediately greeted him.
"Father..." Leon smiles slightly.
Just as the four of them started to continue their lunch, at the same time, Xavier appeared in the room with his gloomy face. His eyes were fixed on his sister. As if he silently told her he didn’t like what she had done earlier.
But the four people in the room didn’t care about his present. Xavier felt more annoyed. He instantly missed his fiancée, Faith Miatris. Only Faith, who is always on his side and cares for him. He hoped Fait would join them so he wouldn’t feel alone like now.
Xavier sat down next to his father and started eating his lunch. For now, he would forget his anger. It was useless to vent his anger when everyone was so happy to meet his sister.
After finishing their lunch, they all moved to the living room.
Later, they heard footsteps coming from the corridor.
"Father!" Felix Moon said as he stood up from his chair. It wasn’t long before Flint Moon, and Anders Moon appeared in the corridor. They were both still wearing training clothes, a green military uniform paired with a dirty-looking booth.
Felicia was stunned. In a hurry, she stood from her seat to her youngest son. She asks him to clean up first before joining the other to chat.
Allynna also was too shocked. She thought her grandpa and younger twin brother were just doing a regular exercise routine. Their appearance seemed like they had just returned from vigorous training in the forest.
