The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince -
Chapter 308: Farewell!
Chapter 308: Farewell!
Still using her pajamas, Allynna appears in her bedroom at her parents’ house. She needed to meet her mother before she vanished from Leon. She didn’t want her parents to worry if she suddenly didn’t show up tomorrow.
Allynna tries to take off her pajamas, but she feels her hand hurt. She quickly took the purple fruit extract that Pinky had given her a few days ago with her other hand.
After sipping from the purple fruit extract bottle, she could feel the pain gradually disappear and be replaced by a cold feeling.
Then...
The pain in her hand dissipated. She could feel her hand return to normal within a few minutes without leaving any pain or a scar.
She was amazed looking at her hand skin, which was blue, now looked normal again. Turns out what Pinky said was absolutely true. The purple fruit can really treat broken bones in no time.
After feeling her body refreshed again, the traces of crying on her face had also disappeared. She quickly changed her clothes into her white knee-length dress and covered it with a knee-length black coat. She let her hair fall beautifully down to her back.
Staring at her face in the mirror while combing her hair, her mind recalled the incident when Leon pushed her so hard. Instantly, she felt suffocating. Her breath was short, and her face turned as white as snow. Sadness almost swallowed her once again. She closed her eyes as she tried to clear her mind, forgetting the expression on her husband, who nearly killed her.
A few minutes passed, and slowly Allynna opened her eyes as her heart and mind calmed down. No more turmoil. There is only emptiness there.
She glanced at her watch, and by now, her family was having dinner. In a hurry, she joined them.
Her sudden appearance made both her parents and her brother Xavier shocked.
"Daughter? Why are you coming today? You told me that you would come for lunch tomorrow. Why did you come today without telling us ahead?" Upon seeing her daughter appear in the room, Felicia immediately stood and greeted her. And then she asked Allynna to sit beside Xavier. "Allynna, my dear, Since when did you come?"
Allynna greeted them all and sat beside her brother. She looked at her mother opposite her. A calm smile framed her face before she answered her mother’s question.
"Mother, I just arrived. I needed something from my bedroom, so I went straight upstairs without meeting you first..."
"Did something happen!? Why are you here all of a sudden? Where’s your husband?" Felix Moon asked. He also looked surprised to see his daughter come unannounced.
"I’m only stopping here for a while, father. My husband is still waiting for me at the Prince’s castle before returning to the island." Allynna looked at her parents in turn. She tried to be as natural as possible so no one in the room would be suspicious of her sudden appearance and the biggest lie she would tell them.
"Mother, Father... I want to say goodbye to both of you. Tomorrow I will start cultivating with my new healer master. So I’ll be traveling around the empire with her." Allynna thought of Pinky as her healer master. Under the table, she clenched her fists so hard, feeling guilty for lying to them.
"I don’t know when I’ll be back, but I promise you...." Allynna stops her words as she looks at Xavier. "If my brother gets married, I will come back. Brother, when did you marry sister Faith?" Allynna giggles when she looks at her brother, blushing.
"Hahaha... yes, you should come back." Felix laughed at his daughter’s words. Likewise, Felicia immediately forgot to ask about their daughter’s sudden plan. Still, they became interested in discussing their first son’s plans to marry Faith.
Xavier places his cutlery on the table and then cleans his mouth with a napkin before looking at Allynna and slowly saying, "Maybe... 3 months from now. Uhmmm....Faith and I... we’re planning to get married before autumn...."
"Wow! That’s a fantastic brother. I will definitely come back for your wedding." Allynna immediately stood up from her chair. "I should go now. You guys continue your dinner...." She smiled for the last time and vanished from the dining room. She can’t stay there long, or her family will suspect that she is hiding something. Especially her father.
At Crown Prince’s Castle.
Leon is standing still, looking at the place where Allynna disappeared. The Lady’s words seemed to stab his heart. He could feel a tremor there, but his mind couldn’t remember her at all.
"Why does that Lady look so sad? Is all that she said true?" He murmurs.
He began to believe that the girl was really his wife he had forgotten about. Because no other woman can turn him on, apart from his fiancé. Even though he didn’t remember the Lady yet, he had to catch up with her. He wanted to know more about her.
Leon took a deep sigh as he vanished from the room and appeared in his bedroom on the island. After turning on the light, he didn’t see anyone in the room. But he was surprised to see the interior of the room had changed.
In the past, the room was the same as the room at the Prince’s castle; minimalist and dominated by black and gray color. But, now this room has become warmer. All furniture was replaced with new ones with a more feminine style. The room looks brighter with the dominant color selection of white and pastel. His heartbeat felt numb when he guessed that this room was his room with his wife. The woman whom he had forgotten about.
"Damn it! Why can’t I remember her? And where is she?"
Leon looked at his watch. There are still 4 hours before the day ends, but why hasn’t the girl appeared yet?
Leon paced back and forth in the room, waiting for Allynna to appear. But Allynna did not appear after he had stayed there for almost two hours. Finally, he went back to Prince’s castle. Maybe the Lady is waiting for him there...
