Chapter 302: Threatening Ikaris

There must be something strange going on with Leon. But what is it? And why would no one tell me about it?

Allynna puts her spoon and fork on the table. Her appetite, which had appeared because she wanted to eat with her brother, suddenly disappeared. She didn’t want to continue her breakfast anymore.

"Brother, are you sure you saw my husband?" Allynna asked Xavier to make sure as she worried her brother saw the wrong person.

"Of course! I clearly saw my brother-in-law went to the palace with Sebastian...." Xavier looked confused at his little sister. "Why do you look shocked, sister? Don’t you know he’s going to the palace?" He raises his brow curiously.

Allynna didn’t reply. She was in deep thought. Her heart began to worry that something was not right!

"Bloody hell! Are you guys arguing?" Xavier couldn’t believe what he thought was actually happening. His sister is fighting with his brother-in-law! "That’s why I didn’t see him having breakfast with us?" Xavier continued his words.

Allynna looks at her brother with a confused look. She was at a loss as to what to answer his question. Because right now, her mind was a mess. She can’t think straight anymore. She must meet Leon and ask why he avoids her?

"Brother! I’ve finished breakfast. You can go home now. I’ll stop by to visit my mother tomorrow for lunch." Allynna stood up from her chair.

When she saw Lella in the corner of the room. "Lella, please take my brother to the entrance...."

Allynna left the dining room without turning her head to look at Xavier sitting quietly in his chair, staring at her back.

"What happened to my sister? Did something happen to her, Lella? Did she fight with the crown prince?"

"My Lord... this way!" Lella slightly bows as she walks to the entrance. She didn’t dare say anything. She was worried that Lady Allynna would be angry with her if she said something that could not be told to Lord Xavier.

As soon as Allynna entered her bedroom, she called Ikaris. However, Ikaris’ phone cannot be reached.

She paced back and forth in her room as she tried to guess why Leon didn’t come home to see her even though he had already completed his mission.

Is he mad at me? But why? Why was he suddenly angry?

Leon will never ignore her, even if she does something he dislikes. This is really strange. Something must have happened to him.

After a few minutes of walking, she felt exhausted. She sat on the sofa while trying to call Ikaris again. But Ikaris still didn’t pick up his phone. Feeling angry, she walked to Leon’s study room next to their main bedroom. She turned on his desktop computer.

She types fast on the keyboard. A few seconds later, the desktop screen turns dark. There is only an hourglass icon that rotates in the middle of the screen. It wasn’t long before Ikaris’s pale face appeared right before her.

"M-My Lady A-Alynna?" Ikaris was shocked to see Lady Allynna suddenly appear on his computer.

"Hahaha... Terrific! Now I’m hallucinating Lady Allynna appearing on my computer screen!? You are so stupid, Ikaris... answer her call. And said something to her, why did you avoid her? This is not your fault, alright!" Ikaris laugh out loud, feeling stupid. He was too afraid to pick up Lady Allynna’s phone call and ignored it more than twenty times.

"Ikaris! You are not hallucinating...." Allynna was speechless looks at this dumb Ikaris laugh like crazy.

Ikaris instantly froze. His eyes widened, looking at the desktop screen. This is real?

"Ikaris! Why are you surprised to see me?" Allynna’s lips slightly curled up to form a sinister smile at Ikaris. She stopped smiling and continued her words, "Do you think I can’t break through your computer security? Create the math and algorithms to break it? You underestimated your genius disciple, Ikaris." She laughed again, but now her laugh sounded eerie to Ikaris’ ears.

"L-Lady Allynna... C-Crown P-Princess..." Ikaris tongue tie. He was too shocked because Lady Allynna could hack his computer.

How does she do it? It’s impossible because he hasn’t taught her the technique; to break through his layer of protection. What’s more, royal intelligence’s IP address is very secret. No matter how great Lady Allynna is, there’s no way she can hack his computer in this office. Unless...

Damn it! How could he forget? Ikaris cursed himself because he did not seal the connection from the Crown Prince’s working desktop in his study room.

He bitterly smiled before he said, "My disciple is really talented. As your master, I’m really proud of you, Lady Allynna...."

"Alright, let’s stop with this useless talk, Ikaris." Allynna’s face suddenly changed. Her lovely face instantly turned dreadful. "Ikaris! Come here in 30 minutes, or I will go there to make a fuss!!!" Allynna’s frosty voice immediately made Ikaris freeze on the other end.

Did she know? He wondered in fear. A second later, he saw lady Allynna’s dreadful-looking face disappear, and his desktop screen returned to normal.

Ikaris stared at his computer screen in silence. He was trying to understand what had just happened.

"Ikaris, what happened? Why does your face look as white as paper? Is there a problem with the system?" Sitting on the sofa in the corner, Sebastian looked confused to see him frozen in front of his computer screen.

"Sebastian! We are in trouble. Lady Allynna knows about prince Eleon returning from his mission." Ikaris stood from his chair and paced back and forth near his desk while his hands were squeezing his messy hair.

He was dead meat!! Lady Allynna must be angry now. She definitely will kill him because he lied to her in the first place. Bloody hell!!

"I’m dead. I’m dead. She will kill me...!!" Ikaris murmurs, feeling stressed.

"Who told Lady Allynna? How could Lady Allynna know?" Sebastian asks. They try to keep them apart, so they don’t meet until the Crown Prince’s memory returns.

But now, Lady Allynna knew her husband was back from a mission?

Did anyone in Prince castle report to her? There’s a spy here?

"Geoffrey! Geoffrey must have told the Crown Princess. How could he betray us?" Sebastian looked at Ikaris. "Ikaris, stop pacing. I get dizzy just looking at you! We need to punish Geoffrey!"
