"My Lady, Lord Ikaris wanted to see you...." Lella was a little hesitant to answer. She was afraid that Lady Allynna’s mood would waver again and the smile that graced her face would fade.

"Ikaris!? Only Ikaris? Or is my husband with him?" Now, Allynna has a strange feeling.

This is already past lunchtime. Leon is supposed to be here by now.

"Yes, My Lady, Lord Ikaris came alone. I don’t see his Highness with him...."

Instantly the smile that framed Allynna’s face a few moments ago disappeared. She was disappointed to hear that.

She follows Lella to the living room area. When she entered the room, she saw Ikaris sitting with his back facing them.

"My Lady..." Ikaris stood up when he heard footsteps approaching.

Ikaris saw Lady Allynna walking towards him, with Lella following her a few steps behind. He tried to keep his expression calm so that Lady Allynna wouldn’t be suspicious. He can’t let her read his mind and know what happened to his Highness. Not Now! It would be troublesome if she had known earlier. Better to keep them apart. Until his Highness’s condition returns to normal.

"Ikaris, are you coming to see me?" Allynna gestured to Ikaris to sit down. Then she sat opposite him. "Is there something you want to talk about?" For this week, she took a break from hacking practice from Ikaris. Why did he suddenly come again?

"Yes, My lady. I am here because, before leaving, His Highness said to me that if he hasn’t come back by this morning, that would mean he is still on his mission and asked me to inform you. My Lady, His Highness, didn’t show up this morning. It is likely they are still on the mission, and their return is delayed ...." Ikaris said nervously. He’s worrying the news will upset Her Highness.

Hearing Ikaris’s news, Allynna looks worried but unsurprised. She had guessed it. She knew that Leon would never delay going home if he had returned from his mission.

"Ikaris, are they OK?" She is worried that Leon’s task will endanger his life. She didn’t want anything to happen to her husband. "You must tell me, Ikaris, if they run into something... don’t hide anything from me. If you did, I might channel my worries and upset toward you." Her eyes now become narrowed and cold, looking at Ikaris. "You know I can be a vengeful lady, right? I don’t easily forget and forgive people’s mistakes...."

Instantly Ikaris’s heart almost stopped hearing her words. Now he’s in big trouble. If Lady Allynna found out that right now he was lying, then he may be sent straight to the waste island to volunteer to take care of criminals. But right now, he had no choice. This was the best thing he could do for this couple.

"No worries, My Lady... I will never lie to you." Ikaris stood from his seat and excused himself. He could not stay in the same room with Lady Allynna for long. Or what he’s hiding will be exposed.

"Ikaris, why are you in such a hurry? You should have Lunch with me before you go...."

"No. No, My lady... I have many tasks to do. I will contact you again if I receive new info from His Highness...." He vanished as he said that.

Allynna frowns, looking at Ikaris disappears behind the entrance door. This is weird. Why does Ikaris look like he’s avoiding her? Did something happen to Leon?

She tries to convince her mind that nothing will happen to her husband. Leon must be OK. He is more powerful than anyone in this land. No one can harm him.

"My Lady... shall we go to lunch now?" Lella is already standing beside Lady Allynna. She is worried that Lady Allynna will skip her Lunch again.

"Lella, I’m not feeling in the mood for Lunch now. Can you bring me fresh fruit in my bedroom? Just place it on my study table. I will cultivate now. No need to prepare my dinner either because I will come back tomorrow morning...." She stood and walked to the main bedroom.

After knowing Leon would not come back today, she felt sad but tried not to show her sadness in front of Lella. She decides to go to her space and play with her fairy and other creatures to comfort her sad heart and the feeling of longing that is currently tormenting her heart and mind.

"But, My Lady... skip Lunch is fine, but skip dinner? You can’t do that... you may get sick...." Lella follows Lady Allynna behind.

"LELLA!" Allynna stops her step. Then she turns her body and looks at Lella with her sulky-looking face. She feels annoyed at how nagging her little maid is now. She was in a bad mood because she couldn’t meet Leon.

"Go... punish yourself! I don’t want to hear you dispute my orders again in the future...." She continued her step and slammed the door before Lella.

Lella was stunned. This is the first time she saw Lady Allynna show her upset side. Her face and her eyes are slightly red. What makes her even scarier is her voice. She had never imagined that Lady Allynna’s graceful voice could turn sinister and frightening simultaneously.

"I’m sorry, My Lady... I will surely punish myself." Lella knelt in front of Lady Allynna’s room with her forehead touching the floor. She regretted making Lady Allynna angry. She deserved a punishment. Severe punishment.

Just as Lella was no longer feeling the soreness in her back being replaced by numbness, she heard Lady Allynna’s voice in her mind.

"Go back to your room! I will call you if I need you!"

At Prince Castle.

"Have you met Her Highness?" Sebastian whispered to Ikaris, who was standing beside him. He saw Ikaris’s eyes looking ahead, and he followed his views. His eyes landed on Crown Prince Eleon, reading a book near the fireplace.

"I did! Luckily she didn’t read my mind. So, I guess she doesn’t know that His Highness has already come back." Ikaris turns his gaze at Sebastian. "Sebastian, how long do we have to wait until His highness can remember his wife?"

Sebastian’s pessimistic look made Ikaris worry that Prince Eleon’s condition would not return to normal anytime soon.
