The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince -
Chapter 281: Mortal Land
Chapter 281: Mortal Land
"We are in mortal land now. Humans here call this place Earth. And this place is called Nameless Island."
Allynna is confused when she hears Leon’s words.
"Is Bellsor also on the earth?" She walks near the window and looks at the scenery. It feels peaceful in this place. The place seemed isolated as she didn’t see any other buildings nearby. Also, no roads, like they are far from any modern civilization.
"Yes. However, we shut ourselves off from the world outside of Bellsor. Because our land is different from this mortal land. My Grandpa created a shield that makes us invisible to ordinary humans. No one can enter our land, and no one can casually get out of Bellsor to mortal land. Only a few people can come to this land. And the permit to visit this land under the control of my division, Royal Intelligence.
Allynna was starting to understand now.
"You said, this Nameless Island? Didn’t we just walk into a red door, Iceland? What does that word mean?" She glanced at Leon beside her.
"Iceland is a country in the mortal land, and this nameless island is in Iceland...." Allynna is even more confused. She also felt afraid that this land was dangerous.
Leon laughed and heard what she thought. He turned his body and faced her.
"My Love, stop overthinking. This island is mine. It’s safe here. This is my basecamp, a data center to monitor the progress of this mortal land. After all, no one can harm us in this mortal land. The humans on this Earth are too weak. They even die before they reach 100 years old. That’s why we call this place mortal land."
"I see... now I can understand."
"Well, this Earth is so huge. So many places we should visit during your stay here..." Leon steps forward to her and places his thumb on her forehead. "Close your eyes. I will transfer you all information about this mortal land. So you can study it yourself...."
After a few minutes, Allynna opened her eyes, and she was dumbfounded. He looked at Leon, with her eyes shining.
"Leon, I love Earth... Can we visit the beautiful places you just kept in my mind?" Allynna looked up so she could see Leon’s eyes. She felt that Leon was getting taller by the day. Is she the one getting shorter, or is Leon still growing up?
"Of course, my dear. We will spend several months here. You still remember the time on this Earth is different from the Empire, right?" Allynna nods.
Leon continued, "In a few months, we will celebrate your birthday here..." A meaningful smile framed Leon’s face and made Allynna blush when she see him smile.
"Leon, does that mean my age will follow the time on this earth?"
"Yes!" Allynna was surprised to hear that. Leon’s age is much older than he should be because he’s been here too often and has even lived here for months.
"Haha, don’t worry. Even though I come here often, I’m not getting older. Because we have this stone...." Suddenly a tiny black stone appeared in Leon’s palm. "This stone makes our age run like the time at Bellsor. But, I will not give you this stone. Because I want you to turn 18 soon!"
"Hmm... why?" Allynna was clueless about his plan to marry her in this land. He can’t wait any longer.
Leon smiled lovingly. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her lips gently. Still, in his arms, he replied, "Because we will get married in this mortal world when you are 18 years old."
Allynna was surprised to hear that.
In a few months, will they officially become husband and wife?
Gosh!
"But, is it okay if we get married without our parents?" Allynna was worried that their parents would be angry. What else, Leon’s parents.
"They will not. We can celebrate with our family after we come back, right? And next year, we will have a banquet to celebrate our grand wedding." Leon stroked her hair gently.
"Alright! I will follow your arrangement, Leon." She shyly said while burying her head into his chest.
"Shall we go outside? I need to talk to my people before moving to a warm place. This place is so freezing and very isolated. You can’t have fun here...."
Allynna followed Leon out of the study room.
Later, when they entered the empty living room, she could see that the interior in this room was also similar to the study room they had appeared in earlier. The interior is modern minimalist, with dominant colors of black and white and a few elements of gold in the ornaments and paintings that hang on the walls.
The two of them were now sitting on the enormous white sofa in the center of the room. Allynna’s eyes were mesmerized by the sight of the snow outside.
Soon, she heard someone approaching. She turned her gaze to the entrance and saw a familiar figure appear. It was Sebastian and Gelael, Leon trusted guard. Apparently, a few months behind, she rarely saw them. It turns out they are stationed here.
"Your Highness..." They both greeted Leon and greeted her too.
Allynna tries not to hear what they talk about. She just turns her gaze again to look at the scenery outside the house. Her eyes were fixed on the white mountains in the distance. If it was spring here, she could imagine the view would be very stunning.
She wanted to explore this place, but Leon was right. She can’t enjoy this place because of the freezing temperatures. Allynna can feel the freezing temperature outside the house. Now she really wanted to visit another city that has a warmer temperature.
Then, a question appeared in her mind; Can she use her abilities in this land?
"Yes, you can, my love... There is nothing different with Bellsor except the time and the people. They are just mere humans. They don’t have superpowers like us." Leon, who had just finished giving orders to Sebastian and Gelael, answered her question in her mind.
Allynna nodded while smiling at him. She was excited now. Wanted to explore this fast and beautiful Earth.
