Felix Moon was surprised to see his wife’s face turned sad. He put his hand on her shoulder and pulled her into his embrace.

"Wife, stop crying. Our daughter will feel sad again if you show your sadness...."

Along the way to this please, he tried to remind his wife not to show sadness. He was afraid that it would stimulate his daughter.

Felicia looked at Felix Moon while nodding.

Her chest tightens when her adoptive father flashes through her mind. Her father always took her to hunt wild animals in the forest and camping at the peak.

"Can we go back inside? I’m so sick of looking at the forest!" Anders, who had been silent behind them, felt uneasy. "I can’t stand to enter the forest again after Grandpa drilled me to stay in the forest for the past few months."

"Tsk! Why are you such a weak little brother?" Xavier glared at his younger brother. "Do you want me to ask grandpa to throw you again in the forest?"

"Did you know? I have spent half of my life in the forest...." Xavier continued his words, feeling annoying.

"What are you guys doing out here? Come on in. It’s cold here..." Felicia walked over to her three children and immediately hugged her daughter. "Daughter, come inside, or you could catch a cold if you stay out here longer...." She was worried that her daughter would be cold, especially now that the sun had fully set.

Felix Moon also convinces his daughter to go back into the house. He followed his wife and daughter, but before he entered the house, he saw a female guard standing right beside Ikaris.

"Did Prince Eleon summon a female guard for you, daughter?" Felix Moon asks Allynna.

Instantly Allynna and Xavier froze when their father noticed Faith’s presence.

"Y-Yes, father..." Allynna replies to her father while walking fast and enters the house. She didn’t want to talk about her female guard, worried her father might know the female guard was Faith. What’s more, she found out that her father is very good at investigating and understands a person’s gestures when lying.

Felicia also glanced at Faith.

"That’s good. Mother prefers a female guard to accompany you over Ikaris...." Felicia whispered to her daughter, "What’s more, Ikaris looks weak, too skinny for a guard...."

Allynna almost trips when she hears her mother’s words. How could her mother judge Ikaris from his body? Despite his thin body and pale face, Ikaris has a powerful innate ability. He was more capable of being her guard than Faith.

"D-daughter, be careful... don’t fall or your fiance will scold mother." Felicia held her daughter’s arm tightly in fear of her falling. "And, why do you look so weak? Are you hungry now?"

"I’m a fine mother..." Allynna’s awkward smile appears on her face as they enter the house. To distract her mother, she took her to see her bedroom while the men sat in the living room.

"Your bedroom is nice and tidy...." Felicia smiled lovingly at her daughter, but her chest felt heavy. How could her daughter spend her life staying in this small bedroom? This bedroom is the same size as the maid bedroom in Moon Family castle.

"I like this bedroom. Because I don’t have to be tired to tidy up..." Allynna laughed while looking at the books on the shelf near her study table. The person who is ordered to look after the house is really reliable. They keep the house clean and well-maintained.

"Daughter, can I keep these pictures?"

Allynna looked at her mother. She was sitting on her bed and looking at the photo album on her lap.

"Sure mother..." Allynna approached her and sat right beside her. She could hear what her mother was thinking at this moment. Her mother still blames herself for what happened in the past.

For Allynna, she could accept it, but it turned out that her mother had been hiding her sadness for a long time to protect her feelings. It made Allynna’s heartache.

"Mother, please don’t be sad anymore, huh!? I’m fine now." Allynna whispered.

Felicia was stunned to hear her daughter’s words. She looked at her daughter in silence.

"Mother! I really can accept all of this... Although occasionally, I still think of my adoptive parents. But it’s natural, right!? Now I feel happy because I have you. I have my father, grandpa, and brothers." Allynna’s voice trembled, and her eyes felt blurry as she looked into her mother’s eyes.

Felicia put the photo album beside her, took her daughter’s tiny hand, and squeezed it gently.

"Can you not repeat those words?" Allynna chuckled between her tears when she saw her mother trying to smile as tears could not stop flowing from her beautiful eyes.

"Alright, I will stop saying those words!" Felicia cleared her throat, which suddenly felt dry.

"I love you, mother..."

"Mother also loves you so much..." Felicia couldn’t finish her words. She pulled her little daughter into her embrace.
