Chapter 253: Encounter (1)

Leon nodded while trying to understand all of this.

"Well... actually, when I met her, she wasn’t human. But she was in the form of a white kitten. And she said her name is Snow...." Now Leon began to believe that the cat was really his grandmother.

Aolis gasps in shock hearing his son’s words.

Leon continues, "Papa...I’m not sure if she is a human or a magical creature. Obviously, the cat is powerful and has a mental mind above my level. I can’t hear her deep thoughts."

Aolis froze. He was increasingly convinced that the cat was his mother. He knows a powerful witch like his mother can change her proper form to any magical creature. And as his father told him, her mother has a mental mind more than his father. Until now, it’s hard for his father to find her because she can beat his father’s mental mind.

"That white cat always appears near Allynna. A few months ago, she even saved Allynna’s life from the Red Eye Monster’s attack in the forbidden forest. And when I propose to Allynna on the peak, she also appears. That time Allynna decided to bring her into her space. And from that day, the cat lived in her space...."

Aolis’s hands trembled at all of his son’s explanations. Instantly, a warm feeling rose from his heart, and not long, he could feel his vision blurry.

He can’t hold his tears.

He hurriedly excused himself and disappeared from the room. He doesn’t want to show his son his vulnerable side.

Meanwhile, in Allynna’s mindspace,

When Leovaris arrived at Allynna’s space, his body immediately felt tense. He could feel his wife’s strong aura.

A faint smile frames his face as he knows with solid confidence that his wife is in this space.

Initially, he had suspected that the medicine from his daughter-in-law could not be made by changing the main ingredients. The white witch’s blood plasma is essential to fight the poison produced by the black witch. Pinky must have said that to cover his wife’s tracks so she wouldn’t be caught.

"My Dear, your trick can’t buy me!"

Leovaris vanished from Allynna’s side and began exploring her space which had drastically changed since he came here a few months ago. He was amazed by the size of this space as it is now several times wider. There are many new dense forests, new hills, and a waterfall behind the house.

He stopped right above the waterfall because he was too shocked to see the sight of the waterfall before his eyes. He slowly landed on the enormous black rock near the pond while smiling quietly. This waterfall is precisely the same as the one on the white island. The one that his wife had created before she vanished ages ago.

Leovaris couldn’t hold anymore. He really wanted to see with his own eyes his beloved woman. He flew, closed his eyes, and tried to feel his wife’s aura again. A few seconds later, he slowly opened his eyes and looked ahead at the new forest that had just appeared across the lake in front of Allynna’s tiny house.

A faint smile appeared on his calm old face.

"I found you, dear...." Leovaris vanished from his place and appeared in the middle of the lush forest.

He frowned as he saw nothing. As far as the eye could see, he could see a large and tall three towering in front of him. There was no sign of life around there. Neither was the sound of any creatures or a gust of wind. As if he had entered a colossal painting.

"I know you are here, my dear...." Leovaris’ deep soft voice echoed through the dense forest. Waiting for no response from his wife, he waved his hand gently in the air, and suddenly the trees in front of him seemed to shift. He smiled faintly, knowing his wife must be using a mirage.

A moment later, an old house with a gray stone facade appeared in front of him. That was the first house he built for his wife hundred years ago when they still lived in the primary realm.

Leovaris’s heart trembled to look at that house. He can’t hold himself to walk fast to the door and open it.

He looked at the living room, which he still clearly remembered in his mind. The living room is not too big. A white sofa is set in the middle of the room, and on the white walls hang several paintings. His heart fluttered. He remembers how he and his wife spent their time together before conceiving Aolis.

He didn’t see anyone in the room, but he could feel his wife’s aura so strong inside his reading room. He walks fast to the room. He saw a white fluffy cat lying on the couch near the stone fireplace when he opened the door.

Leovaris was stunned when his eyes met the golden-like eyes of the fluffy white cat. Instantly his knees felt weak. He fell to his knees in shock at what he saw.

"No wonder I never found you! Do you use this form all the time? How could you!!" His voice trembles, unable to hold his sadness. "Why! Why did you do this to me, huh?" His bloodshot eyes stared at her sharply.

Eudora Snow slowly stood up from the couch and gracefully jumped up. Instantly she turned into her human form, a thin lady with long black hair standing right before Leovaris. She slightly bent down to take Leovaris’s hand.

"Stand up! I don’t deserve your kneel...." She chuckled while pulling Leovaris to stand up. Later, they vanished from the reading room and appeared in the living room.

"Are you mad at me?" Eudora Snow is looking at her old husband sitting in front of her. He is so thin, and his hair is white and long. And why did Leovaris grow his beard? He now looks like a magician!? He looks so pitiful.
