The Bride Of Immortal Crown Prince -
Chapter 235: Disguise
Chapter 235: Disguise
"C-Crown Prince! I didn’t say I wanted to take a bath with you." Allynna quickly took a few steps back. At that moment, she felt her knee feel like jelly. "Y-You go wash alone. I will go to the kitchen. I’m hungry..." Allynna was looking for an excuse not to be tempted to follow Leon’s foolish idea.
She vanished from her bedroom and appeared right in front of the refrigerator in the kitchen. Her heart was still beating irregularly making her a little bit difficult to breathe.
Trying to breathe normally she stroked her chest while muttering, "Gosh, that hot blood prince is always looking for trouble!" Allynna smiles thinking about Leon’s idea to bath together, instantly her cheek turns warm, and giggles at the same time.
"What are you doing, sister?"
Allynna was utterly shocked when she heard Xavier’s voice right behind her. She looked back and saw her brother standing with a strange look at her.
"Bloody hell! Brother, why do you suddenly appear here??" Xavier was surprised to hear his sister’s irritated tone.
Why was his sister furious with him? Xavier feels confused. He took a closer look at his sister’s face to read her expression but he noticed that her cheeks were flushed red.
Is she sick? Xavier thought. But later he put his mind aside because his sister was still energetic like this. She must be fine.
"My dear sister Ally, it wasn’t me who suddenly appeared here. But you..." Xavier could only shake his head and walk to the island near the kitchen. He sat again, continuing his late dinner avoiding her sharp gaze.
Tonight he came home late because he had some work to do. He was just about to eat his dinner, and suddenly his sister appeared in front of the fridge. It took him by surprise, worried that something had happened to her. But it turned out he was worried about nothing because she was okay.
While eating his dinner, he glances at Allynna. She stood in her place while her eyes looked at him intently.
Xavier stopped eating.
"Are you hungry sister?"
Seeing his sister just freeze without responding made him worried.
"Do you want some?" Xavier offered his steak when he saw her eyes now looking at his plate. "Sisters?" Xavier suddenly felt a shudder. Afraid that the girl in front of him was not his sister Allynna but Faith in disguise, like what happened a few days ago.
"NO!" Allynna shook her head quickly when she realized that she was tempted by the steak Xavier was eating.
Gosh! Why did her brother eat steak at midnight? It felt like she wanted to eat together but now her weight was unstoppable. Her mother spoiled her too much with delicious food.
"Sister Ally! Why did you come down here just to get some water?" Xavier became increasingly suspicious that the girl in front of him was not his sister, but Faith or someone who broke into his house. "Isn’t there a refrigerator on the second floor?" His voice was calm but right now he was so ready to attack the woman in front of him.
Allynna is motionless, standing in her place. She doesn’t know how to respond to Xavier at the moment. Xavier has a point: if she only needs water, there are plenty of water bottles on the second floor. There is even a refrigerator filled with various desserts and fruit that she can eat if she is hungry in the middle of the night.
"You’re not my sister, do you!?" One of his hands was getting ready to hold his sharp dagger.
"WHAT!? What are you talking about?" Allynna was confused by Xavier’s question.
Quickly she heard what he was thinking, she was stunned. How could her stupid brother believe someone else disguised as herself? Does he watch a lot of movies? So that his imagination can be creative like this?
Allynna was speechless.
Seeing his sister upset like she wanted to murder him with her sharp gaze, Xavier felt a little bit relieved.
"She must be the real Allynna...my little sister!" Xavier speaks in his mind.
He knows so well, this castle has a robust security system like the one in Prince Castle. No one would be able to sneak in unnoticed.
"Hahaha, sister, don’t be angry. I’m just asking, alright!" Xavier scratched his head even though it didn’t itch at all. He was too embarrassed to be suspicious of his sister.
Xavier continues his words, "Sister Ally, why do you come here?" Xavier placed his cutlery on the table. He felt full just exchanging words with his sister. "On the second floor, you have a fridge, right?"
Allynna cursed Xavier for being suspicious of her.
"Brother, it just happened... I forgot to tell my maid to fill my fridge on the second floor." She quickly answered Xavier and intended to return to her room or Xavier would ask more and Leon’s whereabouts in her bedroom could be exposed.
"Do you want me to go to the second floor to fill your fridge?" Xavier was worried that his little sister would be thirsty in the middle of the night if the fridge was empty.
"No! No need, big brother...." Allynna quickly rejected his idea. It could be troublesome if her brother went up to the second floor. He could sense Leon was in her bedroom. What’s more, Leon is now taking a shower in her bathroom.
The thought of Xavier seeing Leon with his bare chest made her feel like an entire zoo having fun in her stomach.
Hastily she rejects him, "B-Brother, I have to go back to my room now. B-bye!" Xavier looked confused to see his little sister disappear, with her face slightly blushing.
"Is she sick? Why do her cheeks look so red?" Xavier murmurs, looking where his sister last stood. After a few moments of staring in silence, he continued his dinner. While thinking, does he need to go to the second floor to check on her?
