Chapter 169: Trapped

"Yes, I can turn into a grown man like other humans. Why do you look shocked...isn’t there an explanation in the books you’ve read?" Alpha asked, confused. Didn’t she already know all about him? Even though she knows the soul contract!

"I never read it. And why did you not say anything before?" Allynna’s voice sounded sulky. This uncle Alpha tricked her.

She felt cheated!

She thought he could not turn into a human, so she asked him to make the contract. But it turns out he can. Allynna would not have offered this contract if she had known from the start.

"Uncle! Let’s revoke the contract." Her eyes flash with seriousness. She can’t keep uncle Alpha by her side, or someone will be utterly jealous.

Alpha is confused when he hears the brave girl’s words. He stared at her with many questions in his mind,

"Why are you back out!? Weren’t you the one who insisted on this Soul Contract? Earlier I even tried to warn you by saying other humans will freak out if they see me walk around you..." He had already given her a sign, but this brave girl looked so confident.

Seeing the brave girl just silent did not answer his question. He continued his sentence, "We can’t break the contract until one of us dies." His voice sounded eerie, but again he felt odd when he saw her face and smiled pityingly at him.

This brave girl is kinda weird!

When Allynna hears Alpha’s words, suddenly, she feels sad for him.

"Uncle Alpha, You were in trouble! Someone may behead you the moment you come out of this space." Her voice sounded sympathetic to him.

"Huh!! What do you mean? Why do I get into trouble?" He asks while waking up from the ground. He wants to walk around to test if he can walk normally. Sure enough, this brave girl’s power; heals him instantly. He didn’t feel hurt like before. He was like being reborn, like he was in his golden age, so powerful.

Allynna looked at Uncle Alpha’s eyes which had now changed from red gradually to green similar to her eyes. Now he seems not scary at all. He is just an adorable baby wolf. If he was in human form, what would his face look like? She was curious, but she wouldn’t ask him to change his future. What if Leon saw it?

"Well, My fiance is the jealous type. Even he was jealous to see my closeness with my older brother. And... if my fiance knew you’d be by my side, he’d probably kill you...." Allynna chuckled when she imagined Leon jealous of the wolf.

Alpha’s face turned relaxed. He thought something terrible would happen. Turns out it’s just a jealous fiancé. He will never be afraid of humans, especially her fiance. Her fiance was just a child whose abilities were not as strong as the elders he had encountered and clashed with.

"Don’t worry about that. But you should try to think about how we can get out of this place? I could guess we were already stuck here for hours. Maybe it’s already bright outside." Uncle Alpha’s words made Allynna flinch.

Uncle Alpha is right. She must find a way out of this place. She didn’t want to make Leon worry too long. She closes her eyes and tries to sense any clue; maybe there is a source of energy that makes this place exist. But after several minutes of searching, she doesn’t find anything.

Then an idea pops into her mind.

She will try to enter her space and appear next to Leon. She will try this way. Hurriedly she sat down and closed her eyes. Second, she materializes in her mind space. She did! She can enter her space.

But her heart tightens when she tries to come out of her space. She appears again in the abandoned mind-space, and she could see uncle Alpha now looking at her with his eyes flash in horror like he was fuming now.

"Brave girl, how could you teleport without bringing me?" He was so shocked a moment before that this girl had suddenly disappeared from his sight. Damn it! He could starve to death here. Although this place is quite beautiful to live in, he did not feel any living creatures here. This place is empty. He just looks at green land with blue skies. No trees, lake, what else animals.

Allynna ignores the fuming Uncle Alpha. She looks again at her surroundings. After trying to teleport to Leon’s place, she ends up again in her original place! Now she feels scared. When her eyes landed on Uncle Alpha, she cursed her ignorance for not heeding Leon’s order.

How could she be stuck in this place with a wolf!?

"Uncle, we are really in trouble now! I can’t leave this place...I try to teleport, but I end up appearing here again." She said while standing up and starting to circle around the place. There may be a hidden mechanical entrance around here. She knew that RI* could create advanced tools. Perhaps this space was theirs too. She hopes!

"Brave girl... Did you find anything?" Alpha follows her to find any clue. Maybe they can find a way out of this space.

"I didn’t! How about you...?" Allynna now stops searching. She feels tired, and her stomach starts to feel hungry. If at this hour she feels hungry, it means that the sun has risen outside.

She slumps on the ground and tries to hold her cry. She regretted leaving the house. If she followed Leon’s orders to stay at home, maybe her night would be spent romantically with him. But instead, she was spending time with Uncle Alpha. Allynna’s eyes looked at the wolf. He also stops searching and sleeps on the ground while looking at her.

They stare at each other without no one speaking as if they blame each other in their heart.

"Brave girl, are you crying? Earlier, you were so fierce at me that I thought you were the type of girl who would never cry. But I was wrong. You’re just like most girls out there. They freaked out when they saw me...." He chuckled and tried to tease her so she wouldn’t be sad. He knows very well his new master is currently upset and sad.
