Chapter 165: The Reason

After she activated the body shield on her watch, she walked towards the noise made by monsters with her quick steps. Allynna braced herself to be brave, even though the road in front of her was dimly visible because of the thick leaves covering the moonlight.

If only she had divine eyes, she would have no trouble seeing in the dark like this. Allynna wonders if Royal Intelligence has a divine eye device?

If they had not yet made that tool, then she would make it. She desperately needed such a sophisticated tool at a difficult time like this.

She was too afraid to turn on her cellphone light, afraid she would attract the attention of the monsters. She knows very well that Red-Eyes monsters are not just ordinary monsters. They are intelligent and sly and able to even manipulate the human mind. But, this time, the monster wouldn’t be able to control her mind. She was very confident that her innate ability could protect her mind.

And if the Red Eyes Monster endangers her life, she can enter her space, stay there for a while and emerge in a safe place. She must be safe! Nothing will happen to her. She just needs to locate where Leon is. She must find him soon to assist him if he needs help.

After a few minutes of walking, she arrived at the area where the trees were getting denser, and the location was really dark. She stops her step and tries her best to look at her surroundings. She sees nothing but darkness, and strangely she can’t hear anything. Including the howling sound of the red-eyed monster, her ears had caught its sound a while ago, shouting so loudly.

Why is it so quiet here? Where am I?

Allynna was starting to get worried. She focused all her senses to find out soon if there was danger threatening her. She tried to walk again though limping. But the further she walked, the weirder she felt. Now the gust of wind that was still felt suddenly disappeared as if she had entered another space.

This!? Why did she suddenly change places?

She forced her eyes to look around. Instantly she widened her eyes in horror when she collided with the monster’s red eyes, standing only a few meters from where she was standing. Immediately she felt sorry for not hearing Leon’s order to stay in the house.

Now, all Allynna could do is only to whisper quietly, "Leon... I’m sorry!"

Meanwhile, at the same time, in a different place, Leon scolds Sebastian for arriving much later than he should.

"Why are you so slow?" He sneered and disappeared from the branch he was standing on and appeared right in front of those red Eye Monsters calmly. Sebastian immediately follows him behind without speaking.

"You lowly monster stepped on the wrong ground! Did your king tell you never ever step your feet in my land? If you do, you will pay with your life!" His eyes stare sharply at the leader of this monster, whose body looks like a giant wolf with black fur.

The Red eyes monster looked so scary, but he was just like a lowly wolf in the mortal world in Leon’s eyes.

Earlier, Leon wanted to take care of this monster alone, but he didn’t want to take the risk because not far from this place, there is Allynna. Afraid one of these monsters will find her location. That’s why he needs Sebastian to help him to guard.

The howling sound of the leader of the Red Eyes Monster echoed throughout the forest when he heard Leon’s words as if he wasn’t afraid of Leon’s threats. His eyes were sharp, looking at Leon with a position ready to kill his prey in any second.

Leon could only laugh, he lifted his one hand, and a black flame appeared and instantly appeared a gold sword in his other hand. His eyes change to the sun color, then in a flash, he moves toward the closest of the Red Eye Monsters with brown fur. With one swipe, he slashes the monster’s head and throws a black flame.

Everything happened so fast. The leader of the Red Eye Monster hasn’t blinked yet. His army had already burned into ash. He saw the human in front of him with horror.

"Sebastian! What are you doing just watching me?" Leon’s voice echoed through the dark forest, "Go finish them all. I will punish you if I kill them more than you!"

Sebastian, now moving very fast toward the monsters, flashed while a sharp black saber appeared in both his hands. In the eyes of the Red Eyes Monsters, he looked like a flash of black light. In one breath, he finished slashing the red-eye monster closest to him. His speed is no less than Leon’s. In Sebastian’s mind, he must kill as many as the Crown Prince could kill. He didn’t want to be punished.

"Sebastian, don’t kill the leader! Leave it to me. I will take care of him!" He said and stopped right before the Red Eye Monster Leader. He is flying in front of that lowly monster and staring at him like he wanted to burn through his eyes.

"This is your bad day to meet me!" He sneered. Then he moves fast and throws his black fire before he slashes his head. Instantly spurting blood from the monster’s neck, splashing onto his coat. After he saw the head and body of the beast separated, he landed on the ground and burned him into his black flame.

Shortly after...

"Your Highness! I have managed to kill 8 monsters!" Sebastian’s voice sounded proud.

"Excellent, Sebastian! Now clean up this monster, don’t let their carcasses pollute and cause a stench on my land ...." He said while taking off his coat and clothes. Then he threw them on the ground, after which he burned them.

This is why he always uses black because he doesn’t need to see blood if it splashes on his clothes. Though he would still burn his clothes. He will not reuse the clothes that have been stained with the blood of his enemies. What’s more, now that Allynna, he doesn’t want her to smell the blood from his body. The girl will freak out.

He must go back to the house. The girl has been left all alone for too long.
