Chapter 134: Family Meeting (6)

"Brother Xavier! You also came!?" Allynna tries to sit, but Leon forbids her.

"Don’t wake up too soon. Just take your time. Everyone will wait for us. Don’t worry...." Leon said, then looked at Xavier again.

"Did you just arrive? I didn’t see you downstairs earlier...." Leon asked.

Xavier was dumbfounded. How could they not see him? He’d been downstairs when the two of them came.

"I came with my father and mother. So you didn’t see me then? The brightest intelligence commander didn’t see me?! Either my little sister entirely steals your attention, or you are mean to me, My Best Friend Prince Eleon!" Said Xavier in a humorous protest.

But Leon completely ignored Xavier’s effort to build a warm conversation. He looked back to Allynna, who looked uncomfortable after forcing herself to sit up. Leon immediately put a pillow on her back and helped her sit up while leaning on the thick, soft pad to make her comfortable.

"Are you ready to meet our parents downstairs?" Leon asked softly. He saw Allynna nod with a half-smile appearing on her reddish face.

"Leon, I’m confused. What should I do when we’re downstairs? I think I’m too nervous to think of anything to say when I meet them."

Allynna stared at Leon, who was still sitting in his place on the edge of the bed

Xavier is dumbfounded when Leon and his little sister completely ignore him. But, he couldn’t help but speak when he saw his sister looked so nervous,

"Sister Ally, don’t be too nervous. Try to relax. If you are confused about what to answer, you can reply by asking them to repeat their question. The Crown Prince and I will help you if you are lost for words...." Xavier said.

Leon nodded in agreement with what Xavier said. He tried to convince Allynna not to get nervous and worry too much. Everything will be fine.

"Sister Ally, aren’t you happy that I’m your real big brother?" Xavier walked over closer to the bed.

Allynna lifted her face to look at Xavier. How could she forget this handsome and kind man; is her real older brother? She slightly shakes her head. Then, she got out of bed and walked towards Xavier, "Brother...." She said softly and shyly as she hugged her older brother.

"I’m happy to know that you are my older brother. Thank you, because the past few weeks you have been very caring and nice to me. Especially for the birthday cake..." Allynna said with her soft trembling voice. Even though she had only known him for a short time, she could feel Xavier was a good person, making her feel comfortable around him.

Xavier was surprised when his little sister threw her tiny body at him. He didn’t expect her to do it this straightforward. Without much thinking, he immediately returned the hug. He had no memory of her because they had been separated since she was a baby. But, all this time he had been helping his father look for her, he felt something in his heart that made him both relieved and happy when his little sister finally returned.

Slowly, he raised one hand to rub her hair and then hugged her little sister again more tightly. Xavier could feel there was a tremor inside of him. Instantly he can feel his eyes stung and his vision blurred. The First Born of The Moon Family froze while cursing himself for being too weak, unable to hold back his tears. This is the first time he ever cried for someone in his life. But he feels lucky that his tears were happy tears.

"Sister Ally, thank you for growing and surviving so we can finally meet. You must know how hard we try to find you, right? We never abandon you, even when all hope is lost. All the Moon Family and I love you very much. They’ve been praying and waiting for this day to come...." Xavier’s hoarse voice made Allynna unable to hold back her tears. Her body shook in Xavier’s embrace.

Seeing Allynna cry again made Leon annoyed with Xavier.

"Alright, alright. Stop it now, Xavier! You’ll make your little sister even more nervous. She’s been crying a lot all morning. Don’t let her cry again now. Let her meet your parents first." His voice sounded so irritated as if he wanted to beat up Xavier.

Leon pulled Allynna and embraced her, "My Love, stop crying now. You don’t want our parents downstairs to see your swollen eyes, right?" Leon said softly. Allynna tried to contain her emotions so as not to be sad anymore. She immediately nodded and tried to smile, seeing Leon’s bright and reassuring eyes.

"Leon, may I meet my parents first?" Allynna said.

She thought she wanted to meet them first before getting to know Leon’s parents to discuss their engagement. Because she was sure she would not be able to hold herself from the sadness when she met her own mother for the first time.

Leon could understand what she was asking. He asked Xavier to call his parents to meet them in the bedroom.

Soon Felicia and Felix arrive in the room.

Allynna stood by Leon’s side. Her eyes saw her parents standing a few meters in front of her.

Then she looked at her father. She could see Xavier’s face in her father’s face. They have a similar face shape, but her father’s aura is different from Xavier’s. His father looks more firm and authoritative. And, from his emerald eyes, there was warmth and tenderness there. When their eyes met, she did not feel fear, nor did she find his aura intimidating. Instead, she felt a sense of security from there.

Later, Allynna’s vision landed on the ethereal woman standing right beside her father. Her face looks so pale. If only she didn’t have naturally cherry lips like that, people might think she was sick. Her eyes are exactly the same as the woman’s eyes and face. They have an uncanny resemblance, even though it cannot be clearly seen because her mother has aged a lot. She was sure her mother had lived for hundreds of years. She could feel how mature and wise her mother was from how her eyes stared.

Seeing them this close made Allynna’s heart and mind start to work chaotically. There were many words on the tip of her tongue that she wanted to say, but somehow they couldn’t be told. She stood there staring at them silently while trying to hold back her tears. Now, she could feel her eyes were starting to feel hurt, and her vision was slowly blurry.
