Flint Moon stops scolding his grandson and looks at his son with mixed feelings. Then, his eyes landed on his daughter-in-law, her face looking so pale because she rarely left the Moon mansion since her baby girl was kidnapped. Instantly Flint Moon ignores his son and grandson walking toward Felicia Reymys.

"Daughter, let’s go inside...." Flint said and took Felicia’s hand, led her inside. They walked together along the corridor that brought them to the living room. Felix and Xavier looked at each other when they saw Flint leave them. They quickly followed him in and met Leovaris.

All of them sat on a large U-type custom sofa in the living room, the sofa looks so big it can accommodate about 15 people. After they greeted each other, no one started the conversation at that time because there were still servants around them to serve snacks and drinks.

After all the servants left the room, Leovaris seemed to snap his fingers in the air, and suddenly a thin white mist enveloped the sitting area. Felix and Felicia were stunned and surprised when they saw Leovaris make a shield. Why did Old Bells suddenly make a shield? It confused Felix.

After getting their attention, Leovaris saw his best friend sitting beside him. He asks him to start talking since the room was already shielded. No one else will be able to hear their conversation.

Flint sat up straight and placed his hands on his thighs. He slowly looked at his son and daughter-in-law, sitting not far from him. He could see from the look in their eyes they were both perplexed. Actually, it’s not just them. He, too, is currently confused. How to deliver this news so as not to make his daughter-in-law faint.

Since his granddaughter went missing, his daughter-in-law suffered a severe blow. Making her demeanor much different than before. She becomes weak and gets sick quickly. It was as if half of her soul had been lost with her daughter.

While Flint was composing the right words to say, Xavier, sitting right beside his mother, remained silent. He sat quietly, ready to help his mother if she suddenly fainted.

After a while...

"Son, Daughter, I have good news to tell you...." Flint took a deep sigh once more to adjust his emotion. He, too, feels excited about this news, but he tries to be calm.

"Father, what is it? Can you just tell us now?" Felix asked. He had been impatient when he saw his Father silently staring at them without saying any words.

"We have found your missing daughter, Alysha...." Flint saw his son and daughter-in-law didn’t move in place as if they froze after hearing his words. He didn’t continue his sentence anymore, waiting for them to react.

After hearing their Father’s words, Felix and Felicia simultaneously looked at each other to confirm what they had just heard.

Did, father say, they find Alysha? Their missing baby daughter? Really!?

"Father, are you serious about what you said? No! You must be humoring us, right?" Felix finally could say a word after a few minutes of silence. He had wanted to hear this news for so long. Till he forgot how to react upon hearing this news. He was too afraid that this news would not be accurate. A lie he could no longer face. In the end, it will make him and his wife sad because they are too hopeful.

Unlike Felix, Felicia stares into her father-in-law’s eyes. She is confident that what her father-in-law said is true. Spontaneously she grabs her husband’s arm tightly while whispering softly, "NO, Felix! Your Father is telling the truth! They found our missing baby daughter!"

After she said that, she felt her body limp, and her breath was short. She seemed to have forgotten how to breathe because of the shock. In the midst of her trying to catch her breath, suddenly, she can feel her son’s hand gently supporting her back.

Felicia glances at her son. When she saw her firstborn look calm after hearing this news. At that moment, the mother knows that her firstborn already knew about his little sister. She turned her gaze again to her fathers-in-law. With warm eyes, she said,

"F-Father... where is my daughter now? Where is my Alysha?" With a trembling voice, she asked Flint, "I want to meet her...please, Father. Let me meet her." Felicia can feel her breath heavy and short as if someone put the heaviest metal in the universe on her chest. Still, in her tears, she gently stroked her chest to try to divert the pain.

Felix was shocked when he saw her wife burst into tears. Now he realized what his father had said was true. He looked again to his Father. "Father, where is Alysha...where is she?"

Flint couldn’t stand seeing his daughter-in-law wail like this. He wanted to meet them with Allynna now, but Prince Eleon was still in the capital. He also didn’t know when they would get here.

"You will see her soon. She is now with Prince Eleon. She doesn’t know about her past. Now, Prince Eleon is telling her about us, her family... So please be patient." Flint’s words made Felicia slowly stop crying. For her, waiting a few hours was fine. The important thing is, her daughter has returned to them. And be safe with Prince Eleon.

"This... Father, how could you find her?" Felix was curious and wanted to know where his daughter had been and how his Father and Uncle Bells found her. For years he searched for his daughter but his efforts were in vain, not a single trace could lead him to find her.

This is his biggest failure as a father and a military official. How could he not be able to track down his own child’s kidnapper? If only people at large found out that his daughter was missing, the possibility he would become the talk of the nobles in the empire. His reputation would be tarnished.

But the strange thing is, his child’s kidnapper never revealed to the public that the Moon family had lost a child. It was unheard of as if someone had suppressed the news. This fact has always bothered him and still bothered him, even after Alysha is found.
