Leon, who now focused on driving, glanced at her slightly, "Sure. You can invite them. But, today I will be busy with my task. I have worked out of town and will be back at dinner. I can’t accompany you, is it okay if I’m not at home?" Leon said in a regretful tone.

Actually, he wanted to accompany her to have tea time with her friends, but there was a new case happening in Gold Town and he had to go there to look at the crime scene.

Allynna smiles at him before saying, "Even though I wish you were here with me. But, I can understand that your job is more important. So, it’s ok. Next time we can get together again with them. And Leon, maybe you can also invite your friend to join us." Allynna said.

She really wanted to know all his best friends. She hears he has two best friends; Xavier and Darren.

She never met Darren in person. As for Xavier, it’s been a week since meeting him. He has been texting her occasionally. The first time receiving a short text from Xavier made her uncomfortable. That time, she immediately told Leon. She didn’t want Leon to misunderstand her.

But Leon’s reaction confused her. She thought Leon would get angry and block Xavier’s number but his reaction was different from what she expected. Leon told her, no need to hesitate to Xavier and he allowed her to communicate with Xavier as usual.

At first, she was uncomfortable, but after a while, she became used to it. Because Leon said several times to her, he already thought Xavier was his own brother. And if needed, Xavier could protect her if one day he was not around. So naturally, she started to accept Xavier’s presence and started to treat him like an older brother.

It was nice to have a brother who could protect her when she needed it. She feels blessed to know new people she met in the capital. They all accept her with warm hands and hearts.

"Yes, that’s a good idea, Allynna. We will arrange another gathering later. This noon, enjoy your time with your friend. And you have to remember, don’t go anywhere without Ikaris by your side." Leon said. He was worried something would happen to her on campus.

"I will," Allynna said then she turned her gaze in front. She saw Ikaris’s black car driving ahead of them and behind them, another black car was driven by Sebastian.

Soon they arrive near the main gate of Bells Royal University.

"Leon, let me get off here..." Allynna asked Leon to stop a few meters from the main gate.

Leon slowly stops the car in a safe place. He turned his head to look at the girl who now carried her backpack ready to go down, "Are you sure? It’s quite far from here..." Leon asked, confused. Why did she suddenly want to be dropped off at the gate? Even though the distance of the building where she wanted to go was more than a mile from their current location.

"I just don’t want..."

"You are embarrassed to go along with me, Allyna?" His words make Allynna feel sorry to hear. She immediately looked him in the eyes, instantly she was stunned looking disappointed in his eyes.

"No! Leon, I’m not embarrassed to walk with you. But I’m just afraid someone will recognize you...this campus accommodates children from noble families, many people recognize you. And, you know, I don’t want to attract attention... don’t you want me to be less attention-grabbing too?" Leon nods slightly.

She smiled again trying to make him feel better. "And, Leon, thank you so much for driving me here. I know you are busy right now, but you took your time for me..." Allynna turned her gaze elsewhere. She couldn’t bear to see his dazzling golden eyes as their eyes met.

"Can you not say that?" He silently chuckled, "I happened to have time and I want you to be happy and remember these memories forever..." He said while raising his hand to hold her chin and made her face look at him.

Allynna was surprised when she felt Leon’s hand touch her chin and when their eyes met she froze; she showed Leon’s face closer to her face.

At that time she did not know what Leon would do; But, she just followed her heart to close her eyes. And second, later she could feel Leon warm lips touch her cheek gently followed by his charming words near her face,

"Have a good day my fiance, Allynna!" Leon said while looking at her blushing face. "Now, you can open your eyes, Allynna. Or...do you want me to kiss you again?"

Allynna’s heart beats faster when Leon kisses her cheek gently and when she hears his last word and soft chuckles, she immediately opens her eyes. But she was surprised again when Leon’s face was still right there, only a few inches away from her. She can see how attractive his eyes and his sharp nose are. When her eyes landed on his lips, she felt her body tense.

"Do you want me to kiss you again?" Leon asks her again when he sees her eyes staring blankly at his lips.

Allynna tongue-tie, don’t know how to answer that kind of question. This is the first time a man asked her that. She just bites her inner lips while her eyelashes flatter a few times waiting for Leon to kiss her. Well, she was just a normal young lady, who sometimes pictured being kissed by a man. And she wants her first kiss with Leon, her fiance.

Several times she imagined Leon would kiss her. But since they met, Leon had never once kissed her.

Sometimes she feels insecure. With a myriad of questions in her mind that bothered her...

Did Leon want to marry her just for status?

Was he not physically attracted to her?

Just now, Leon just wanted to tease this girl, but when he saw her lips slightly open and heard her thoughts, his desire that had been suppressed resurfaced uncontrollably.
