Chapter 786: Chapter 558 Massive Talent

It felt like stepping on an invisible gust of wind, Magic Potion’s movement speed was greatly enhanced, and with each step taken, he was in a different place.

The wind whistled past his ears from both sides.

He rapidly fired off arrows, conducting harassive combat.

The sudden mysterious buff had impacted the entire battle situation, giving Magic Potion’s side, which had been at a numerical disadvantage, the opportunity to counterattack.

Messages were coming through the team’s private chat.

"They’re gathering together."

"I just killed two of them."

"We lost two on our side as well."

It was impossible to reach the frontier in time from the respawn point, so this battle could only end with one side being completely wiped out and then continuously pushed by the victors.

"You guys hold the line in front, I’ll pick off stragglers, remember to call out the positions!" Magic Potion quickly laid out the battle strategy.

The sounds of explosions kept coming from ahead, quickly progressing to close-range physical collisions, the booming impact on the ground throwing the battlefield into chaos.

Magic Potion took a couple of heavy breaths; the constant reports of trading one for two or two for two meant the greater the death toll, the more apparent our disadvantage.

"12 o’clock direction, a healer lagging behind!"

The message finally arrived.

Magic Potion quickly moved towards the target direction. His crouched "Stealth" run was almost as fast as an ordinary person sprinting at full speed.

A Wizard holding a Magic Wand was running to the left of Magic Potion. She was also carrying several pieces of heavy equipment, presumably passed off to her by the main combatants to stay agile.

"Perfect opportunity!"

He made his move swiftly; eliminating the healer would cut off the enemy’s ability to sustain themselves, giving his side a higher advantage.

The ambush was a success. Starting with a Rank 1 Fireball, the bursting fireball continually emitted high temperatures. Since Magic Potion maintained a prone position, the ground turned scorched black under the intense heat as he swiftly raised his right hand and violently flung it forward.

As the Fireball flew straight towards the healer, he quickly took out a Magic Scroll. Prolonged combat had nearly depleted his mana bar, and unfortunately, Potion resistance was still in effect; drinking another bottle would do no good in the short term.

Splashes of light scattered like fireflies and rushed towards Magic Potion’s body as if summoned, adhering to him and making him sparkle like starlight in the night.

Night was approaching, and this battle had to conclude quickly.

Having successfully restored some Magic Power, he kept up his pace; the enemy healer was hit by the Fireball just a second ago.

"Ah!" The enemy screamed, falling to the ground, her overburdened gear causing her to lose balance.

Magic Potion, closing in, swiftly drew his Longsword but was met by the pitiful look on his opponent’s face.

"FML!"

After kicking the enemy over, he unceremoniously snatched the items off her body. Looting equipment meant stripping them while they were still alive.

Besides crying out "FML," the enemy healer was just flailing, clearly indicating she had always been well-protected and had never been through a significant battle.

"Didn’t they say the gender relations on that side were bad? Why are there still guys fawning over girls?"

After looting, under the horrified gaze of the enemy, Magic Potion mercilessly pierced her head with his sword.

"How come ’FML’ wasn’t translated? Is it because I understand it?"

The game’s translation function was indeed smart.

Harvesting the loot with his sword, Magic Potion once again concealed himself, looking for new assassination opportunities.

Suddenly, a sense of crisis struck from behind. Magic Potion turned to see a wall of fire waves charging in his direction, but the bright flames were too obvious, making such a powerful spell impossible for a sneak attack. He easily retreated and hid behind a giant rock.

As the wall of fire surged past, Magic Potion, who had shielded himself, braved the lingering scorching aftermath and charged forward.

Every Wizard who had finished casting a large-scale Spell would definitely drink a potion to replenish their Magic Power. This was a massive battle of endurance and mana consumption.

"Got you!"

He allowed himself a triumphant smile. His Longsword pierced through the enemy’s body, forcing their health bar to empty as he quickly took away the equipment from the body.

Boom!

An explosion of flames was triggered beside him.

Magic Potion made a split-second decision, stabbing himself in the throat with his sword.

Rather than being severely wounded by the blast, he chose to commit suicide, taking his loot back to the stronghold.

"Struck gold!"

"Everyone, head back, adjust the pace. They’ve been stripped bare, they’ll definitely keep harassing."

Next was the time to divide the spoils.

The other Undead on the battlefield also started to kill themselves to withdraw from combat. Our side suffered no losses, merely spending some Magic Scrolls and Magic Potions, while the enemy had a large number of equipment and even precious materials stolen.

"We’re rich!"

"How do we split it?"

"Everyone pick what you want first. If nobody wants it, we’ll divide it up. If multiple people want the same thing, we can discuss or roll for it."

The group nodded in agreement with the decision, feeling the urgency to develop swiftly.

The tension inside them mounted as clashes with the neighboring Undead forces were inevitable in the future.

"Keep recruiting, we need more people."

Magic Potion swiftly decided the next steps for development.

The group then relaxed, chatting while eating snacks, browsing videos, and checking the current progress of the main storyline.

Discovering the progress was moving at a snail’s pace, they felt much more at ease.

"But seriously, the battlefield buff from Sin Dragon Castle is pretty sweet."
