Chapter 746: Chapter 540: The NPC Stole the Boss

After a great deal of effort, Magdalena finally diverted her attention away from the new chariot.

She would never admit that being a former "Princess" she really hoped to own a cool chariot.

Impossible! She was not that kind of vain person.

The most important thing at the moment was to gain the favor of the giant dragon, the King of Black Phosphorus.

The actions on Enstad Continent had not gone as smoothly as Magdalena had imagined. Although there were indeed many Undead, and their numbers far exceeded her expectations, they were similarly keen on things she couldn’t understand.

For example, an idle game.

Thanks to Lind Armand’s generosity, not only could ordinary Undead play this game, but also many of the locals were playing it, gaining some amusement from it.

They were not as interested as the Undead, finding text games with invisible patterns not very exciting.

In contrast, chariot racing and those legends and stories spread across different worlds were far more appealing to them.

After some hard times, the round-faced Princess began to get a slightly terrifying impression after spending more time here; this place seemed like heaven.

"I promise this is the last time, and I’m not doing this for fun. It’s to investigate this Material Plane. Haven’t you noticed how many Deities there are here? If we could eliminate them, we would complete the dragon’s mission and gain its favor. In the event we accidentally win the race, we could get a lot of rewards, by which we can employ the Undead to work for us."

She was convincing the Giant Wolf, attempting to convey through the power of words just how significant her current dedication was.

The Giant Wolf didn’t utter a single word throughout.

So, she was successful in persuading it.

Magdalena climbed onto her mule cart again, familiarly tugging at the reins, waiting for the signal to sprint.

This was the latest and longest map to open up.

Starting from the Black Knight’s underground tomb, passing through a desolate area, around a mountain range, to finally arrive at the location of the Majestic Shield.

Along the way, one could occasionally spot the figures of Deities, such as the Sublime Angel who often roamed around or the Swift War Chariot who would occasionally enter the track to run a couple of laps with the Undead.

Even other Deities chose to turn a blind eye to the increasingly brazen Undead, and their random appearances added much fun to this lengthy racing journey.

Giant Wolf: "..."

The Giant Wolf did not believe that Magdalena was telling the truth; her joyful demeanor looked nothing like an investigation.

But who cares, it’s not important, right?

Let her have her fun until Corruption King Grace sends a message, especially since she’s still young but already carrying so much responsibility.

The race begins!

A long journey across mountains and rivers.

Most of the time, there’s no collision with other racers.

Although there’s only one path, the speed, skill, and various situations along the way differ greatly.

It could be a sandstorm.

Or maybe the chariot accidentally falls into a pit, or even directly encounters an enemy.

Wearing the Giant Wolf Badge, Magdalena strictly followed the rules, but the presence of the Giant Wolf still gave her a significant advantage on the long journey, allowing her to take first place.

Standing on the podium, Magdalena shook a large bottle of champagne, and under the envious gaze of other Undead, she vigorously shook it until "pop," the cork burst open, and champagne splashed around.

The surrounding cheers made her smile undeniable.

"I made a fortune!"

Magdalena couldn’t suppress the smile on her face; the corners of her mouth almost reaching her ears.

"We should change to a new chariot," she suggested.

Giant Wolf: "..."

I knew it would come to this!

Luckily, Corruption King Grace sent a message.

The other party didn’t go to the War Throne after receiving the message but ripped through space directly to the Enstad Continent based on the location of the Giant Wolf.

The moment she appeared, many Deities within range noticed her presence and cast their gaze upon her.

Normally, many Deities or powerful beings would choose different methods, such as projection or imbuing power, to send others or avatars to different Planes on their behalf.

Because you can’t guarantee that when you physically enter, you won’t be attacked, it’s never as relaxed and casual as on your own territory.

Unless you’re as audacious as Lind.

Moreover, the appearing Grace was not a Deity; she was a 6-ring powerhouse with strength surpassing ordinary Deities, and she could still die.

Soon no more Deities cared about this matter because the Black Knight Camp sent a message that she was one of their own.

If they don’t want the Undead army at their doorstep, then they better act as if they saw nothing.

"We need to complete the dragon’s mission and then gain its favor," Magdalena said the moment she saw Corruption King Grace.

"It’s not that easy, dear," Grace didn’t immediately agree, "We can’t casually provoke conflict, especially in unfamiliar places. It would be taken as provocation and could lead to being attacked by more enemies."

Once strong enough, powerhouses seldom fight to death; if they can’t win, everyone can run.
