Chapter 728: Chapter 530: Undead Version of Merging Big Watermelons
"Old Black whipped out a pitch-black and sturdy shield, deflecting all attacks from the Undying King back at him."
The Undead danced in front of the Majestic Shield.
"biubiu!"
"Deflection!"
Several people got playful, laughing and jesting around.
The Majestic Shield remained silent.
To this day, there are few Undead who persist in going into battle against the boss; most just watch the excitement, as there’s no point in striving when they can’t get the boss anyway.
Against NPCs stronger than themselves, the Undead couldn’t care less.
But when facing stronger Undead, all they do is shout "Awesome 666" and heap praises wave after wave.
"Holy crap, these two bros are way too powerful."
"They can do that too?"
"Something’s off; could it be a plot monster?"
Undead watching the live stream expressed their confusion; health bars can’t be faked, nor the scale of destruction, so why can two level 30 Undead kite and engage the enemy.
From the looks of it, they were completely in control of the battle rhythm.
"Ah—!!" Magic Bull saw this scene, his initial lack of confidence turning into strong self-assurance.
I can do it too.
"This map definitely has enhancements, watch me kill with one sword strike!"
Gale blew.
Lind hid behind Old Black’s shield, watching as Magic Bull was flipped by the storm, smashed into the ground, and instantly turned to ash.
Lind: ?
Old Black: ?
[At the base of the mountain where Majestic Shield Rodwede is located, a figure appeared at the respawn point.]
Magic Bull: ?
"I got killed?"
Turns out I wasn’t enhanced, it’s just that those two have too tough thighs, tough enough to hard-tank the boss.
"Holy shit, my experience, my gear, my..." Magic Bull immediately rushed towards where the Majestic Shield was located, pushing through the crowd of Undead to get in front of it, "Old Rod, let me in, remember me?"
The Majestic Shield remained silent.
It knew it couldn’t contend with Lind and Old Black and opening a door wasn’t that significant; without it, they would still find a way in.
No need to bother with weaker Undead.
"The live stream is cut off!"
The scene was filled with Wailing.
Some looked at Magic Bull with disdain.
Such a perfect moment to gain followers, becoming a fluttering little miser slowly earning viewers would have been great, why rush to your death instead, now no one has any entertainment to watch.
Someone asked: "Do those two big shots stream?"
Magic Bull: "No, they’re lone wolves and a bit socially anxious."
"Try asking, let the big shot stream for a bit."
"Alright, I’ll ask."
Undead Kingdom, the City of the Dead, whatever this place is called, this war is like an annoying child, jumping around in a sandcastle on the beach, destroying everything.
Green Ghost seas surged, gathering together, their bodies rolling and entwining, tightly packed, lunging towards Lind and Old Black from all directions.
With no Undead around, Lind no longer had to hide his strength.
His initial plan was to use the Undead Kingdom as a power-enhancing instance for the Undead, then stimulate their initiative to take on the role-playing aspect of investigating the storyline before opening up branching instances as game progress.
Unfortunately, power-inflated Undead would turn hostile, attacking the Deities across the lands, turning the era of All Gods awakening into one filled with red name boss mobs everywhere.
This isn’t truly a gaming world, so there isn’t an absolute affinity system. In the eyes of the Deities, among 100 Undead, 70 are rebellious, and the remaining 30 will inevitably be deemed traitors.
Lind’s instance exploration plan had to be put on hold temporarily.
Plans can’t keep up with changes.
He intended to capture the Deities for his own use, not to keep killing, even though Lind could make the Deities awaken again, but as the number of vengeful Deities increased, it led to a loss of control.
Green waves surged towards the sky, thousands of spirits condensed into a green giant snake, opening wide in the air, plunging down towards where Lind was.
Lind, with both hands on his sword, condensed the Soul Blade in his hands.
He struck an unadorned upward stroke.
The Green Ghost giant snake collapsed, the bright blue soul light blade horizontally split it in two from its mouth, the ghosts directly touched turned into ash, and the remaining ghosts turned into scattered dry bones, clattering down, raining green under this gloomy sky.
Left foot stepping down.
Bow stance.
Lind reached forward with his left hand towards the Undying King, and pulled back the Soul Blade with his right in a posture reminiscent of drawing a bow, seemingly gathering strength for a full-powered strike.
Flames burst from behind Lind, the wild flames like blooming flowers spreading out, forcefully tearing a big opening through the green wave.
Whoosh, the flames contracted, and Lind’s figure turned into a streak of blue and red light.
The Undying King, still swaying, attempted to raise the Undead King’s Sword for another strike, but an instinctive sense of crisis warned him of an enemy right in front of his face.
Lind stepped on the Undying King’s head, the roaring fire columns behind him providing tremendous thrust, rotating and changing direction from horizontal to vertical, aiding Lind in flipping him over.
The Soul Blade pierced through the Undying King’s neck.
If there were any Undead spectators, they would have seen the very hard-to-kill Undying King’s health bar suddenly decrease by half.
The Undying King opened his mouth, struggling but unable to move.
