Chapter 615: Chapter 475 Deities Altar, Unlock_2

But for the 140,000 Undeads, their slaughter was like trying to douse a fire with a cup of water.

"I have drawn one drop of blood from Him!" an Undead shouted at the top of his lungs.

One person contributes one drop of blood, 140,000 people—it’s an instant kill.

Here comes the unique strategy the Undead use when fighting a BOSS, known as the PDD battle method.

Victory wasn’t out of reach, and even though the Snake Queen only lost one drop of blood on the Undead’s health bar, the difference between this battle and victory wasn’t too much for the Undead.

The power of Magic surged into their bodies with their spirits heightened, just one strike! Just one hit!

Brilliant Magic flew like fireworks toward the Snake Queen.

Only now did the newly revived Snake Queen realize the terrible might of the Undead; they were not insignificant pests to be squished at will, there needed to be more... but how much more was enough?

The Snake Queen couldn’t even imagine what the Black Knight had given these Undead, nor could she fathom what the Undead gained by killing her.

Deities only sleep forever.

Deities rarely die.

The Salt Alkali Plain Lord watched from the back, or rather, he watched as the great Snake Queen was completely enveloped by the Undead, wrapped and submerged within that terrifying sea of bodies.

The Undead surged forward relentlessly, swallowing the Snake Queen completely with their numbers and fearless spirit, showing only a writhing mound to the outside.

He was shaken inside. Initially, he thought the Snake Queen, whom he deemed the strongest power arising from the Salt Alkali Plain, wouldn’t take long before "slumbering" again. What awaited the warriors of the Salt Alkali Plain then?

If this battle were to continue forcefully, no matter the method, they were bound to be completely wiped out.

"Form up! Defend!" the Salt Alkali Plain Lord yelled.

He chanted prayers, and raging Flames transformed into three human-head-sized Fireballs, orbiting his body, the glaring fire spinning faster until it completely enveloped his figure.

At this critical moment of life and death, everyone burst forth with their potential.

However, having a mind set on a desperate fight didn’t necessarily mean they were truly willing to die; having lived through an apocalypse and survived, their instinct to live overpowered everything else.

From within the mound formed by the crowd, an arm suddenly extended out.

The Snake Queen struggled to shake off the Undead clinging to her.

She flailed violently, bursting with light, and the ashes of the dead Undead soared like volcanic eruptions, thick enough to obscure vision.

She might have slaughtered about twenty or thirty thousand if she continued to persist... Suddenly, a Gale howled.

The clouds in the sky twisted and turned with the Storm, a strange sight that caught everyone’s attention, and the one riding the storm was none other than the Black Knight.

His fierce armor and imposing aura alone stilled the noise as he stood midst the storm.

His arrival brought absolute safety, shocking not just the Salt Alkali Plain Lord and his men but even the Snake Queen—did such people really exist who just by standing there, silently, could bring silence to hundreds of thousands?

Though there were some noises, most of the Undead kept quiet, those closer to the Black Knight being more silent.

Lind, transformed into the Black Knight, didn’t indulge in the sudden tranquility with vain rights, for he knew this moment of silence wasn’t for him but because the Undeads were there to "watch CG."

"Quiet, watch CG" had become an informal rule amongst the Undead.

Since the entire game lacked guidance, official rules, and offered absolute freedom, letting the Undead immerse completely, there were indeed no CGs to watch in the game—the highly viewed videos online were all filmed and recorded by the Undead themselves.

To ensure a perfect experience and to have their own creations become a sensation, even the female Undead started recording when they were captured.

His body was enveloped in a thick Abyss Aura, as if dragging along twisting tentacles, ready to devour anyone in sight.

The Snake Queen struggled to shed the Undead clinging to her body, her scales scarred and damaged.

She looked at the Black Knight with a gaze filled with loathing, slightly trembling. That larger "bug" posed an unprecedented threat to her, and it was difficult to turn the tide even after defeating him.

The Black Knight walked forward quietly.

The Snake Queen also moved forward with a stiff posture.

The Undead were relentless, but some immediately entered "Watch CG" mode, staying silent.

Lind looked up at the Snake Queen, a true "Deity." It seemed that every deity he encountered had a body shape and appearance unlike humans’. Even the Lady of the Night, who closely resembled a human, was still enormous.

Looked down upon, the Black Knight stood firmly. His Ghost Cloak swayed behind him, making the Snake Queen before him seem like a mere insignificant rock.

The Snake Queen attacked first. She stretched out her arms and slapped toward the Black Knight with a simple offensive move that contained multiple forces.

But the Black Knight reacted faster. He swiftly raised his sword, emitting a burst of electric-like sword energy as he swung upward, instantly overwhelming the Snake Queen.

Once the Black Knight initiated his assault, the Undead realized that the life points they had painstakingly reduced were easily cut down by just a few more strokes from the Black Knight.

His blade tore through the air between him and the Snake Queen, the sharp attack creating a storm that was difficult for ordinary people to withstand. Broken potion bottles, shattered Longswords, discarded armor, and rubble were swept up in the storm and hurled in all directions with a screeching noise.

The Snake Queen watched the Black Knight in terror, his fluid and elegant attacking stance—without running or the foolish tumbling—made it clear to her that she was no match for him.

The Black Knight continued his onslaught, carrying a metallic storm with each strike of his sword, gradually stripping away the Snake Queen’s life force until she began to tremble and painfully collapsed.

The war was over.

The Undead immediately began joyously recording and then joyously contacted the Undead of the Salt Alkali Plain, asking them to hand over the "Invitation Code."

The war between the Black Knight and the Snake Queen had finally ended. There were winners and losers, yet despite their Undead nature, there was no apparent repulsion between the two sides; instead, they chatted amicably.

The war had come to an end.

Holding the Heart of the Fox, Lind left. What awaited the Snake Queen was either surrender or the Undead grinding her down several more times. Some people played the game for the equipment, but others preferred battling bosses.

With 140,000 Undead as his "cash cows," meekly letting him reap profits, Lind didn’t care about wasting resources; he really had more money than one could spend.

Since the currency system was set by Lind himself, even though he earned more money than he could ever spend, he actually couldn’t trade with the outside world and ultimately could only hoard it or give it to the Undead.

Yet the Snake Queen was more reasonable than expected.

When Lind "hatched" her, the Snake Queen did not immediately attack. Instead, she made it clear that she was willing to submit.

If you can’t win, why wait to submit?

...

In the Underground City, O*O* was organizing his territory.

He now faced a problem: it was becoming increasingly difficult to squeeze more out of the Undead. Cheap Underground Cities were wildly popular, and even the expensive ones attracted players if the rewards were good.

But his was the exceptional case. He had gathered a group of strong players, now making battles increasingly difficult, and the high prices deterred visitors.
