Chapter 567: Chapter 450: Sword Saints Everywhere

"Hello everyone, welcome to this edition of "Magic Ring Weekly," I’m Red Bubble."

"I’m Green Fruit."

The familiar opening made it known that the latest "Magic Ring Weekly" was about to begin.

By possessing "exclusive news," meaning access to detailed intelligence about Magic Land, this program stood out among others.

Many even regarded the show as an essential accompaniment to their leisure and entertainment.

And, of course, there were the online comments.

"Finally, do you know how long I’ve waited?"

"First!"

The online comments were so numerous they could cover a face completely; each new episode could easily exceed a hundred thousand live viewers. Given its critical revelations, few gamers would dare to claim they hadn’t watched the show.

"Let’s preview the main content of this episode, including speculation on the progress of the ’Great Rift Expedition,’ a brief summary of the main characters in several Newbie Kingdoms’ storylines, and some interesting things happening in Magic Land."

"First up, the ’Great Rift Expedition.’ Many Undead have noticed that the pace of the Abyssal Calamity’s incursions is slowing down, and their strength seems insufficient. Based on the current storyline we have, we can speculate that the main task of this version isn’t to completely eradicate the Abyssal Calamity from the Great Rift or to crush them but to prevent their invasion of the continent."

"I know for sure there will be comments asking, what about what’s happening in Rand Kingdom?"

Comment: "What about the situation in Rand Kingdom?"

Comment: "Rand Kingdom..."

Comment: "King of Rand..."

Waves of incessant online comments.

"Rand Kingdom is just an exception. According to the data we’ve gathered, the vast majority of kingdoms inhabited by the Undead are already struggling just to resist the Abyssal invasion. Six kingdoms have been conquered by the Abyss, and most of the remaining ones are fighting to hold on, with just a tiny fraction gaining the upper hand."

"Correct. The situation in Rand Kingdom could also be said to be closely tied to Lind. In other Kingdom storylines, the Old Nobility is an uncommunicative hostile force. Most Undead only have the choice to join the New Nobility or the Mutants. However, Lind has positioned the Old Nobility as the main force in Rand Kingdom, the only Kingdom currently led by the Old Nobility. Lind is an official growth-type NPC, and we’ll be detailing his situation in the future."

"Moving on to storyline speculation. Since the Abyssal Calamity from the ’Great Rift Expedition’ is weakening, and of course, it has something to do with our Undead getting stronger, a withdrawal may very well be on the horizon. We have two speculations for future developments. One is that the Abyss will retreat, and we can conclude this version and enter a brand-new one. The second scenario is that the Abyss chooses not to retreat, and we have to keep grinding it out, meaning Lind’s strategy would then be the correct one."

"But we don’t think the second scenario will happen, unless they raise the level cap; otherwise, the Undead couldn’t possibly repel the Abyss."

Comment: "Cheapskate!"

"Having discussed the situations of the three continents, let’s turn our attention to Magic Land. Lind has once again won a battle and directly established an Undead-led Newbie Village. I think that many Undead are still not aware of this. Simply put, as we had guessed before, Lind is going to be the guiding NPC for future journeys to Magic Land!"

"In the upcoming story of Magic Land, our initial explorations suggest that the Beastman territory we explored is vast and filled with countless powerful beings, including various Beast King’s Territories. It now appears that the Beast King’s Territory can still engage in turf battles. Lind has already taken down a powerful Beast King’s Force and formed a cooperative relationship with another Beast King’s Force that is friendly to humans."

The comments grew lively again.

"Holy smokes, is Loud that badass?"

"Kid, who do you think I am? Before you stands the game’s one and only pet, the sole cash-grabber, and the unique merchant of the Abyssal set — Lind, the Poster Girl Collector!"

"Is that Lind, the one whose NPC has like a dozen passive Crests while others have only one?"

"Sounds pretty weak."

"Indeed, recommend a 1v1 duel. If you take him down, he’ll drop tons of good loot—that store won’t be around forever, y’know."

"I admit he might be strong, but my "[Imperfect Imperial Quality Single-Handed Sword]" is not to be underestimated!"

"When are you taking us to the new map?"

"I think contacting Rand Kingdom directly is a better idea, as they will surely liaise with them first."

"We’ve already rebelled haha, forcing our King to surrender to Rand Kingdom. But this idiot of a King had never even heard of Rand Kingdom, let alone the Xilu Continent!"

The program continued, with Red Bubble saying, "Based on Lind’s development in Magic Land, we can preview the next version. There will be a lot of new features, like the Title system, and not to mention the pet system."

Green Fruit picked up the conversation, "Right now I just want to discuss the pet system. Who could possibly resist having their own cat? I’m so envious I’m itching to know more.
