THE BILLIONAIRE'S VENGEFUL WIFE RETURNS -
Chapter 168: CHAOS
Chapter 168: CHAOS
When Gus stepped out of Harlow’s office, he had met with the security department, telling them about the instructions from the CEO and they agreed to send the stubborn man out.
Lincoln was talking to his colleagues when the door burst open with Gus walking in with three guards.
"Mr Lincoln, please leave the organization or I’ll be forced to kick you out," Gus said politely. He didn’t know why this man had chosen to embarrass himself more. He could just leave with the little dignity he had.
It’s not like Harlow had willingly fired him, they made a deal and he lost. Everyone had seen that.
"It seems you didn’t hear Mr Lincoln correctly. He said he’s not leaving till Madam Charlotte sends him out herself." Timothy said.
"It seems you’re not siding with that woman Gus. We all saw her cheat. She solved a project that was already half done, I’m sure someone must have linked the company’s data to her so that she could fire sir Lincoln." Liwa added without thinking.
"We all saw Mrs Hamilton solve the project that was taking you all so long to solve. And if you claimed someone must have sent the project to her already, how was she able to solve it being that Lincoln already said only Miss H could solve it?" He asked strong at the foolish people before him.
"It is possible that she hired Miss H to solve it f..."
"Enough!!" Gus barked. "I have given you grace Lincoln. I’ll give you another five minutes to leave this building. You have been fired." Gus said. He respected the man so much which is why he was being considerate not to embarrass him, but it seems Lincoln wanted the embarrassment.
"Like I said before Gus, I’m not leaving this place. You and your new boss can burn in hell for all I care." Lincoln yelled. Gus said nothing and started walking away along with the security he had come with.
"Let’s give him five more minutes, and if he still doesn’t want to leave, then we’ll have to force him out." He said to the men by the door and they agreed.
"I can’t believe that bitch will try to embarrass you this way, sir Lincoln," Liwa said with a frown.
"She really doesn’t know who you are. If she did, she would never have treated you the way she did."
"Just because she’s CEO, she thinks she can do whatever she likes." A man named Stewards said. He has been silent since the beginning of this whole situation, but right now, he is ready to speak up for his superior.
"We are strongly behind you boss, she doesn’t have a right to fire you," Liwa added and the other agreed except one person. The person who worried for them and what Harlow would do to them.
Once the five minutes were completed and Gus didn’t see any sign of Lincoln stepping out of his office, he called the three guards again and they all walked in with him.
"Lincoln, your time for grace is over," Gus said. "Please drag him out." He ordered the guards but Liwa blocked their view.
"You better not take my boss anywhere because that bitch says so." Liwa pushed herself in, trying so hard to protect Lincoln. The guards were quick to push her aside as they grabbed the stubborn proud man at the corner.
Lincoln struggled against their hold, he jumped, moved, shook his boat like a fish without water, but in all, he couldn’t break free from them. Their grip on him was so tight as they dragged him out of his office and to the ground floor.
"You better let me go, I’m warning you. All of you will regret doing this to me." He yelled.
"You don’t know who I am, you have no right to throw me out." His scream was loud enough to attract the staff on the ground floor and everyone wondered what was going on. At the same time, Harlow arrived all flustered and trying so hard to maintain a calm composure even if she felt so very hot within.
"Everyone this bitch wants me out of here. She’s done this today, she’ll do it to someone else." Lincoln yelled still struggling from their grip as he pointed at Harlow who just arrived.
She didn’t give a reaction, she just stood there watching him closely. It’s so unfortunate Lincoln has chosen to be a sore loser.
"You will pay for this!" Lincoln pointed at her again and the staff there exchanged glances. It’s no news they all didn’t like Harlow and firing a prominent staff of the organization was insane. To them, Harlow has committed the biggest crime. But there’s nothing they could do.
She has every right to fire and employ whoever she wants. She’s the CEO of Hamilton Corp.
"I will be back by next week and you’ll be gone." He yelled before the guards threw him out of the organization.
Most staff frowned at Harlow and others wondered why Lincoln was fired. Of course, his colleagues had spread fake rumors around, but Harlow cared less.
She was just a little bit stunned that firing someone could be this chaotic. When did workers start feeling like they belonged here?
Everyone scattered almost immediately, their whispers filling the air as they all hurried to their duty post. No one wanted to be the next person to be thrown out of here. To most people, Hamilton Corp was their only source of Livelihood.
If they get fired, they have nowhere else to go.
"It is done, madam," Gus said. After solving the hardest Puzzle in the company, Harlow finally earned his respect. He finally realized, this woman standing before him, knew what she was doing. She was only a beauty.
"Good," Harlow said and started walking towards her elevator. She was done with the hardest task of the weak. For the other important meetings to attend, Alanis would do that for her, while she signs the document and ensure the completion of the gadgets in works.
