Chapter 77: He Can Only Be Mine!

Erik boarded the black car that was waiting at the front of the hospital. He dialed Marlon’s number.

"Send me your location." He received the location right away.

"Didn’t I tell you to keep her safe?" Erik was angry.

"But she is safe, dude." Marlon protested.

"I think she saw you when you carried that woman in your arms. She has a good seat at the second level of the theater." Marlon snickered at the other line.

"Cassie suffered from gastritis. I escorted her there so they called for me and I brought her to the hospital."

"Why are you explaining to me?" Marlon laughed silently. "Hurry up. Looks like your woman is drunk."

At the bar, Aryana felt dizzy. She stopped drinking and closed her eyes.

"Emma, let’s go home." She said groggily.

"Okay. You had so much to drink tonight girl. It is unlike you." Emma sounded troubled.

Aryana just nodded. She was a bit reckless tonight. Indeed it was not like her at all.

"How are we going to get home, Emma? It is late already." Aryana asked while glancing at her watch.

"I’ll just book a cab. I’ll just drop you off first..."

"We will send you back." Mu Feng cut in. He called the waiter and settled the bill.

Aryana picked up her purse and stood up. The room around her spun. She sat down again and massaged her temple.

Emma held her on one arm and assisted her. Mu Feng reached out to support her on the other side when a huge frame suddenly came and pushed him away. Mu Feng felt the surrounding temperature suddenly drop.

Erik looked at him with a sharp icy glare and said coldly. "I’ll take her back. You can send her friend back."

Without warning, he lifted Aryana in his arms and carried her out in big steady strides.

There was an awkward silence among the three people who were left behind. Mu Feng followed Erik’s back with a frown while Mu Cheng has a concerned look on his face.

"Her boss looked angry. Will she be alright?" He asked.

Mu Feng glanced at the man’s disappearing back. "Let’s go and send Emma back."

Marlon who was still at the corner settled his bill. He has a cunning smile on his face. He enjoyed watching Erik eaten by jealousy. He liked Aryana better than Cassie and he was rooting for her.

’That Ferrari will be mine.’ He smiled devilishly.

Erik shoved Aryana inside the car before getting in from the other side.

"Drive back to the hotel." He said curtly.

Aryana was curled up in the corner of the backseat. She looked awful.

"Why are you so reckless? Why did you drink with random people?" Erik nagged her.

"They are not random people. That’s Emma and Mu Chen and his brother. I felt bad and I just wanted to chill." Aryana mumbled almost incomprehensively.

"Are you close with them? What if they have evil intentions and spiked your drinks? Did you think about the consequences? That Mu Feng, you just met him this morning!" Erik barked angrily.

Aryana felt aggrieved by Erik’s scolding. Wasn’t he the reason why she was drunk?

"Mu Feng seemed a nice guy. I don’t think he wants to harm me. Besides, I saw Marlon there..."

Erik looked at her sharply. He was irked by the fact that she was talking about another man in front of him. He pulled her closer and crushed his lips on hers in a punishing kiss. He tasted the sweet wine in her mouth.

Aryana felt nauseated. She pushed Erik hard and threw a panicked look at the driver.

"Stop the car!" She shouted. The driver saw the ugly expression on her face and he stepped on the break without a second thought.

Aryana fumbled for the door and ran out of the car. She puked at the side of the road.

Erik gritted his teeth. He took a bottle of water and followed her.

Aryana retched a few more times before she finally felt better. Erik handed her the bottle of water. She rinsed her mouth before taking a sip.

Erik took out a handkerchief, wet it with water and wipe her face with it. He threw away the handkerchief and carried her back to the car.

Aryana fell asleep in Erik’s arms on the way back to the hotel. Erik cuddled her head and swept away the strand of hair that covered her face. He was deep in thought as he studied the pinkish cheeks of the woman in his lap. Did he make her feel bad? Did she see him carry Cassie?

He reviewed the photos sent to him by Marlon. He lingered on the photo at the theater where Mu Feng was looking at Aryana and at the bar where he prevented her from taking a sip from her wine glass. He felt a sense of crisis and he hated it.

He covered Aryana with his jacket and carried her back to their room. He bathed her. It took him a long time to finish as Aryana was clinging to him like an octopus.

He threw her into the bed and kissed her forcibly. He was punishing her. How dare she allow another man to sit close beside her on a couch while drinking?

When he remembered her being touched by Mu Feng on the shoulder, he became rougher. He left his marks on her neck and on her chest. He was jealous and angry and that night he unleashed his beastly side on her.

Aryana cried in exhaustion. When Erik realized he has been too rough on her, he murmured his sorry and caressed her face gently before hugging her to sleep.

At the hospital, Cassie received photos of Erik carrying his secretary from the bar. There were also photos where he carried her inside the hotel.

Her eyes glinted with malice. She opened her contacts and dialed a number.

"Release the photo of me and Erik at the theater. Be sure to create a buzz back at Central District. Also, send me all the information about the secretary."

Since fate let them meet again, she was absolutely sure that Erik was meant for her.

"He can only be mine!"
