Chapter 201: I Will Give You A Proper Wedding

Erik’s heart overflowed with pride and happiness as he listened to Aryana’s speech. He saw a staff carrying a bouquet and was about to go up the stage to hand over the bouquet to Aryana.

Erik intercepted the flowers from the staff and went up the stage, his eyes never leaving her face.

"Congratulations! I am so proud of you." Erik had the urge to pick her up and spun her around but he restrained himself. He could do more later in the privacy of their bedroom.

Aryana mouthed the word "Thank You."

Without waiting for the go signal from the host of the event, the photographer started taking photos of the two.

At VIP table no. 1, President Lustre asked the man sitting beside him, "Is she the wife?"

"I’m sorry President Lustre. I am not sure. I haven’t heard that Erik Lee has gotten married." The man replied.

President Lustre just nodded his head and continued to watch the two people on the stage. He was convinced that the woman was the wife that Erik Lee referred to earlier. Since his daughter has suddenly lost interest in marrying Erik after she found out that he already has a wife, then he will just let it go.

Meanwhile, at the table where Cassie was seated, she was frozen in her seat. She could not say a word for a long time. Her mind was blank. She still cannot believe what she discovered earlier. Her eyes stung when she saw Erik come up the stage and handed her the bouquet. She could not take it anymore. She stood and left the venue in a hurry and in a sorry state.

Jax who was sitting not too far away smirked when he saw Cassie leave. How pitiable. It looked like she was not a match for Aryana at all.

He studied the couple whose faces filled the huge monitor on the stage. Erik who stole a doting look at Aryana was caught by the camera. Jax smirked.

"So you are not hiding anymore huh? Aryana has become outstanding and now you want to reveal to the public that you married her?" Jax cursed under his breath.

When the ceremony was over, a lot of people approached Aryana to congratulate her.

"I am surprised to learn that you are the CEO of CoChi. No wonder you are very passionate about promoting the brand." Clark extended his hand for a handshake. "I’d like to have a long term cooperation with your company. You can handle the costumes of our movies."

Aryana’s eyes sparkled. "I am looking forward to cooperating with you, Clark." Her eyes went past him and rested on the middle-aged man standing beside him.

"Uncle Gram, I am glad that you look better."

"I am," Gram Ham sighed.

Aryana frowned. "What’s the matter? Is anything wrong?"

"Nothing. I had wished for you to be my daughter-in-law but you have become so outstanding that my brat doesn’t deserve you."

Erik who was standing beside Aryana gazed sharply at Gram Ham and Clark. He pursed his lips. ’What does this old man try to achieve?’

Aryana coughed. Before she can say another word, a few CEOs approach them and congratulate Aryana.

The last group of people who congratulated her was the Lees. Aryana was beaming as they approached her. She thought that they could accept her now that she has proven that she was capable.

"Erik must have helped you a lot and poured money into your company." Henry Lee said sarcastically. Aryana felt that a bucket of cold water was poured over her. She was totally wrong.

"I haven’t spent a single dollar on her company, Dad. She did it herself. She started small and slowly expanded." Erik cut in. Aryana heaved a sigh of relief.

Jax approached the group and noticed the tension in the air.

"Congratulations, Aryana. You looked awesome tonight. Should you need additional capital, you can always approach me." He did not extend his hand but rather put them inside the pockets of his pants.

"Thank you, Jax. I’ll consider it."

It was not only Jax who noted the change in Aryana but the rest of the Lees. Aryana spoke with confidence and she exuded an air of cold charm that would make the person she was talking to pay attention to her.

Aryana excused herself and headed to the table where Elaine, Vince, and Jessa were. Rex did not make it because he has gotten sick.

After a few exchanges with her friends who were also her partners in CoChi, she went looking for Erik.

Erik was always surrounded by businessmen and CEOs of other companies. Looking at him, she knew that she still have a long way to go to be his match.

It was already past midnight when they entered their home. Aryana was exhausted. She was taking a shower when a pair of big hands cupped the two mountains on her chest. She forgot to lock the door and she also did not notice when Erik entered the room.

"You were so beautiful tonight. I hated the lewd gazes those CEOs gave you. I wanted to gouge their eyes out and hide you inside my pocket." Erik whispered hoarsely. He nibbled on her lobes and she shivered despite the warmth of the water from the shower.

"Don’t be unreasonable, I am a model after all."

One of Erik’s hands slid down tracing the curve on her waist down to her hips and finally rested on her nether region.

It took only one moan from Aryana before Erik totally lost control. He turned Aryana around and kissed her passionately.

Erik held Arayana’s butt with both hands and lifted her. She instinctively wrapped her legs around his waist and her hands clasped around his neck. She was afraid that she will fall. Of course, will never let her fall.

After a long time, Erik carried the exhausted Aryana who was wrapped in a robe out of the bathroom. He put her on the dresser and helped her dry her hair.

"On our first wedding anniversary, I will give you a proper wedding." Erik frowned when he did not hear an answer from her.

Aryana has fallen asleep.
