THE BILLIONAIRE STILL WANTS HER!
Chapter 104: Give her back...

Chapter 104: Give her back...

Alex stared out the window, his gaze distant, lost in the depths of his thoughts.

The conversation with Tryson replayed in his mind like an echo he couldn’t silence—the moment his son had called, asking for a talk.

It had been unexpected, but Alex knew Tryson well enough to sense there was something more beneath the surface of his words.

His car sat parked in the lot of the luxurious resort, the dim glow of the streetlights casting long shadows around it.

Seated in the backseat, Alex waited, his fingers drumming idly against the leather interior, his patience unwavering.

Then, finally, the moment arrived.

Tryson stepped into the car, and as soon as he did, the doors were shut with a firm thud by the men stationed outside.

"You said you would be returning her to me," Alex spoke, his voice edged with restrained fury. "Why is she still with you?" His tone was measured, calm even, but the tension simmering beneath his words was unmistakable.

Tryson exhaled slowly, his expression unreadable. "I’ve told you before, Father. I can’t do that now. She needs—"

"That woman is the only thing I need. Don’t you understand?" Alex interrupted, his voice rising as his gaze snapped toward Tryson, eyes sharp and unrelenting.

A heavy silence settled between them, thick with unspoken words.

Tryson held his father’s stare, his jaw tightening, and Alex could feel it—the subtle shift in his son’s demeanor, the storm brewing behind his calm facade.

And then it hit him.

Tryson was getting angry, but that wasn’t what unsettled Alex the most. No, what truly concerned him was something far worse—his son was falling for her.

A dangerous thing. A foolish thing.

Love was a weakness, a chink in the armor, a liability that could shatter everything.

If Tryson allowed himself to be consumed by it, he would become vulnerable. And that was a mistake Alex knew his son would regret—one that could cost them both dearly.

"Listen, Father! You know she’s carrying a child, and the fact—" Tryson began, his voice edged with urgency, but before he could finish, Alex brutally cut him off.

"Tryson," Alex interjected, his tone cold and unwavering. "The woman you’re so adamant about is carrying Arthur’s child. And you understand what that means if it turns out to be true."

His gaze darkened as he turned toward Tryson, his eyes piercing like shards of ice.

"Arthur is no fool. He never lets anything slip through his fingers. And you know just as well as I do how much I want you to claim what is rightfully yours. But if you continue acting recklessly, like before, you will fail—miserably." His voice dropped to a menacing whisper, his words laced with warning. "And when that happens, you’ll be forced to stand by and watch as Arthur seizes everything that should have been yours."

Tryson gritted his teeth, his jaw muscles tensing as he felt the weight of the moment bearing down on him.

His fists instinctively balled up at his sides, a physical manifestation of the storm brewing within him, yet he remained silent, choosing to hold back the torrent of thoughts swirling in his mind.

Deep down, he understood that Alex’s words rang true.

Each syllable resonated with an undeniable truth that he could not ignore.

He had traveled a long, arduous journey, facing countless challenges and making significant sacrifices along the way, all of which were now at stake.

The thought of losing everything he had fought for was utterly unacceptable; failure simply could not be an option in this pivotal moment—not for Alexander, not for anyone who had placed their trust in him.

"Father, you know I always go after what I want. And Arthur? He’s nothing but a deceitful cheat," Tryson spat, his frustration barely contained.

Alex let out a dry, humorless chuckle. "Is that really supposed to surprise you?" he asked, his voice laced with icy indifference.

His gaze flicked back to Tryson, watching as the younger man ground his teeth in frustration, his thoughts a tangled storm of resentment and determination.

"He should have understood that she belongs to me. And, Father, the fact that you invited Samson into this—"

"I am only doing what is necessary to ensure your protection," Alex interrupted smoothly, his tone unreadable. "Tell me, is that truly a crime on my part? Watching you stand on the brink of losing everything, knowing you might never recover from it? Do you really expect me to sit idly by and allow that to happen?"

Tryson stiffened, his lips pressing into a thin line.

Once again, Alex had rendered him speechless.

Alex raised his hand and firmly tapped Tryson’s shoulder, forcing him to meet his gaze.

The weight of his touch carried an unspoken authority, a silent demand for Tryson’s full attention.

"If you ever allow yourself to fall in love with this woman, you will fail—miserably. And when you do, you won’t be able to pull yourself back together." His voice was sharp, unwavering. "I don’t care what emotions you think you’re harboring inside. Look at yourself."

With a slight but deliberate shove against Tryson’s shoulder, Alex clenched his jaw, his teeth gritting in frustration.

"Neither I nor your so-called father raised you to act like a failure. Fairy tales were never meant for you—we stripped them away and replaced them with reality. That’s what I expect from you. Nothing more, nothing less."

His eyes burned with intensity as he leaned in. "Tell me, after spending years chasing after something so rare, so precious, why would you let her slip through your fingers now?"

Tryson swallowed hard, his throat tightening as Alex’s words settled deep within him.

The air between them was cold, suffocating, heavy with unspoken expectations. He gave a slow nod, acknowledging the truth in Alex’s warning.

"I’ll do it, Father. When do you want me to carry it out?" Tryson asked, his voice steady but laced with a newfound determination.

At that moment, Alex let out a low chuckle, the sound dark and knowing. Tryson turned to him, his brows furrowed.

"Don’t tell me I’m looking at an amateur," Alex scoffed, his lips curling slightly. "Someone who still hesitates to do what needs to be done."

Tryson stiffened, feeling the weight of the accusation. A flicker of embarrassment crossed his face, but he quickly masked it, nodding firmly.

"Understood," he said, his voice stronger this time. "Prepare to have the necessary documents from Wang Liam’s daughter."
