The Beautiful Boss's Personal Bodyguard -
Chapter 118
Chapter 118: Chapter 118
Ye Tian grimaced, "I had no choice, if there was a way, I wouldn’t want to send the kid away either."
"Just cut the crap, Ye Tian! I know you too well. Who knows what kind of bad water is hidden in your belly. It was you who planned that sniper attack in the office building last time, wasn’t it? I have no idea what you’re up to, and I don’t care, but don’t stir up trouble for me, and stop eyeing my granddaughter."
"Hehe, how could I? Jingwei, feel free to clean house as much as you like. I won’t meddle at all, and I promise not to have any designs on your granddaughter."
Watching Ye Tian’s jesting and smiling face, Gu Canghai waved his hand impatiently, "Alright, go on and do whatever you need to. I’ll lend you Tuzi for now. The Mo Family’s two girls are also not easy marks, if something really happens, they could be of help. Tuzi, go pack up and leave with Ye Tian."
"Master..."
"Enough, enough, stop pretending. Haven’t you been longing to have a go with this lad? Now you have your chance. Hurry up and go, don’t bother me."
"Ye Tian, I have to tell you something else, I’m not sure about other members of the Mo Family, but their old man is like a goblin. You have to be careful, though the chances of running into him are slim."
"A goblin?"
"It’s just what people say. He has some special ability or another."
"Okay, I got it."
Shen Jingwei, reluctant as he was to part ways with Ye Tian, was awakened by Gu Canghai’s words. His own presence would only cause trouble for his Second Uncle and the rest, so it might be better to stay with the elder.
Ye Tian, on the other hand, was more decisive. He couldn’t even be bothered to look back, and went straight out the door, hailing a taxi with Zhang Houtu and heading directly to the hospital.
By the time they reached the hospital, the Mo sisters had vanished, leaving only Pig Hu at the entrance to the ward.
When Pig Hu saw Ye Tian, he stiffened his neck and looked away until Ye Tian came over and said, "Do you want to come with me to chase those two girls?" Only then did Pig Hu turn his neck.
"You’re going to sell your life to them?"
"Like I’ve got a choice? They’ve got power, influence, and arms. Plus, it’s death if the Lei family kills me, and death if those girls play me to death. Which one do you choose?"
"Hehehe..." Pig Hu’s face showed a shameless smile, followed by a similar one spreading across Ye Tian’s face.
Beiping City, it was finally time to go.
The finest pearwood couch, the most exquisite Burgundy wine, the most comfortable silk pajamas, and then, those most delicate and enticing bodies, just barely hidden beneath the silk nightgowns.
Although Huaizhou City wasn’t large, it was one of the few cities adjacent to the Imperial Capital, and finding a comfortable place there wasn’t really difficult. The Mo sisters found a four-star hotel near the city hospital and settled into a presidential suite costing two thousand yuan a night, which for them was merely acceptable.
It really was a small city. Mo Yan stood in front of a huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooking the city — it was not large. The millennia-old Imperial Capital had bred a group of arrogant Crown prince’s party, as well as the future successors of Huaxia, but those always high and mighty young masters were soundly defeated by a local Leopard from a small city. The Lei family really took a fall this time.
Mo Yan’s lips unconsciously curved into a shallow smile, perhaps even she herself didn’t understand why thoughts of that buzz-cut boy stirred peculiar feelings in her heart.
"Yo, feeling lovesick, huh? Missing a man?"
Mo Yu had just come out of the bathroom, holding a snow-white towel to dry her long hair. Seeing her sister standing in front of the window, lost in thought, she boldly teased her.
Mo Yan wasn’t angry, instead she turned around and asked, "Finished showering?"
"The shampoo here is really awful, and I couldn’t adjust the water temperature properly, almost caught a cold because of it." Mo Yu said as she settled down on the couch, quietly holding the mug of milk her sister had prepared for her, sipping it with a blissful expression on her face.
Mo Yan was extremely indulgent with her younger sister. Despite the older generations of the family being very strict with the younger ones, they were particularly lenient with this little girl. It couldn’t be said they catered to her every whim, but at the very least, she never had to lift a finger for anything.
"Why are you looking at me like that, ’little sister’?" Mo Yu cheekily addressed Mo Yan as ’little sister’ and blinked her eyes, waiting for her reaction.
"Because you’re adorable, big sister."
"Hmph, not funny at all."
"How many funny things do you expect there to be in this world? Come on, it’s getting late, you should go to sleep. I still have things to do. Uncle Nine will come to pick us up tomorrow. You go ahead, I’ll follow shortly." Mo Yan patted little Mo Yu’s head as she spoke, her tone reminiscent of cajoling a child.
Watching her sister sit down on the opposite couch, putting on her black-framed glasses, and picking up a book, with her long, pale legs revealed and a bosom generous as she looked up, accentuated by the black hair loosely draped over her shoulders, a hint of her mature and intelligent charm seemed to seep through.
"So beautiful!"
"Hm? What did you say, Yu?" Mo Yan, engrossed in her book, heard her younger sister say something but didn’t catch it clearly.
Mo Yu, with her naive little head, leaned closer and asked, "Sis, are we really born of the same mother? How can there be such a big difference between us?"
"How can that be? We’re twins, look, we look exactly the same." Mo Yan said as she lifted Mo Yu’s porcelain doll-like cheeks, looking into the clear pupils that reflected a face identical to hers.
"No way. I think you’re way prettier. It must be because mom played favorites, giving you all the nutrients in her belly." Little Mo Yu pouted as she said.
"Ha ha ha, you’re so funny." Mo Yan was genuinely amused by the little one, "You’re twenty years old now, why are you still so childish? No wonder grandpa calls you a muddlehead, it’s not unfair to you at all."
"That old man is the real muddlehead. I’m not talking to you anymore, I’m off to bed." Little Mo Yu turned her head and walked away, wiggling her bottom exaggeratedly for her sister to see—as if to provoke her, Mo Yu turned back around, "Sis, your chest is bigger than mine, but your butt isn’t as perky as mine... Ah!"
Mo Yan threw a pillow at her, and Mo Yu let out a shriek before running into the bedroom.
"Game Theory," a rather obscure book, but those studying economics would surely know it—it has almost become a standard analytic tool in the field of economics.
Cooperative game theory was the Chapter Mo Yan was reading. She didn’t know if it was the interruption from her sister just now or simply because she was too tired today, but as she read, her mind couldn’t settle down, constantly flashing with the image of Ye Tian.
