This is a new volume of the Alpha’s long lost heir (Nyx plans her revenge).

This volume revolves around Nyx, and her revenge that is to be served to those who had wronged her in the past (including Oberon).

This is just a continuation of volume one, where she was being totally wronged, by Oberon, and her own sister. Now, she also decides to revenge on Aegis who has humiliated her pack.

Now, she plans to avenge her sufferings in the past, and claim her position as the rightful Luna of the lycanthropy pack.

It has been months since the battle with Aegis. Ever since that day, Oberon had been going to the different packs where the members of his pack were scattered about, gathering them back together again.

He had planned everything out. This time, he would not go back to the palace like a weakling, he would go back like the ruler he was.

Nyx sat in the living room lost in thought. She hated the fact that Aegis was being stubborn, and had refused to withdraw, despite the numerous letters Oberon sent him.

"Since he does not want to withdraw naturally, I will have to make him," she smirked.

She was going to avenge for her pack’s humiliation, after all, who was their Luna?

Dora walked into the living room, and found her alone.

"Oh there you are, I have been looking for you," she went, and sat beside her.

"What is it?"

"Just wanted to be with you for a while," she shrugged.

"Dora, I think we should lure Aegis into stepping down. A battle might be unnecessary."

Dora turned to look at her, "what do you mean?"

A corner of her lips went up, "Oberon is taking too long in trying to bring himself together to fight Aegis. That is taking quite a long time," she sighed.

"Everything needs time, so does Oberon."

"He does need time, but while he is still on his plan, I have thought of something," she grinned.

Dora squinted her eyes, "what did you think of?"

"It seems he likes his subjects being loyal and promising to him, that was the reason, Neriah was able to fool him, and get away."

She scoffed, "You are right."

"If we are able to go back, and brainwash him into thinking we are on his side, then we will be able to eat him slowly from the inside," she grinned.

"Will that work? How?" Dora pouted.

"It will, just wait, and watch," she patted Dora’s head.

"When do you intend to start?"

"Tomorrow," she said simply.

"Does Oberon know about this?"

She shook her head, "He does not have to know."

Dora twisted her lips, "Why? You should tell him," she shrugged.

"No. I do not owe him anything. I am doing this on my own, if he wants to help me, that is fine," she rolled her eyes.

Dora was silent for a while, trying to take her words in.

"I just thought.. maybe he would really like to know," she said quietly.

Nyx laughed, "I get your point though. Well, I have not.. well fully accepted him back into my life yet..." she looked away, "I know it seems off, but if he wants me to heal, he would give me a lot of time."

Dora sighed, "if.. you say so.. but you have to be really careful. Aegis is quite the cunning wolf, do not let him know your plans so easily "

"I have planned this, in and out, I will not make a mistake."

"Okay. If you say so," she rested back on the chair, "you are prepared."

"I am. I am very prepared. From tomorrow, I avenge all my wrongs, ha, I was never going to be lenient with anyone," she picked up a glass of water, "I will make sure I crush him!"

"Wait.. avenge all of your wrongs.. including the ones Oberon had done to you?"

She nodded, "yes, including that. I.. would not just forgive him."

There was a pause.

"Is that what you thought I would do?!" Nyx asked her with wide eyes.

"I thought you had at least... well whatever you want to do to him, it is fine," she smiled nervously, scratching her head.

Nyx sighed, "it will soon be tomorrow. I am only waiting patiently," she put the glass to her lips.

"What about Archi?"

She stopped in her tracks, "Archi?"

"Would you take him along?"

Nyx bit her lips, "I.. no way.. Aegis might be such a bad influence on him! No!"

Dora flinched a little bit, "oh.. okay.. okay.. calm down," she held her racing chest.

Nyx took the water in large gulps. She smacked her lips, when she was done, "sorry, I was just being so tense," she sighed.

"I can not imagine my son under the same roof with Aegis. No way I am risking that," she abokk her head.

"I can see that. Then he will be with us then. You just have to come visit regularly.. I think."

"Hmph, I guess not."

As the sun began to set that day, casting a warm orange glow over the hills, Nyx found herself outside, drafting out her plan once again.

"He might suspect me though, so I have to act as trustworthy as possible," she sucked her lips, in, "as trustworthy as possible," she repeated to herself, this time more quietly.

She looked up at the sky which now had a kaleidoscope of pinks, purples, and blues signalling the end of the day.

Her heart raced when she thought of what she was about to do, "it is going to be a hard one," she inhaled, "a really hard one," she exhaled back again.

"Whatever I do, I should not be so stupid in acting all suspicious," she shook her head, "as trustworthy as I can be," she patted her cheeks.

"Mother?"

She turned to look at him, "oh, Archi," she patted the space behind her, "come sit."

He sat down beside her, his eyes full of sadness, "are you really going to leave me?"

She creased her brows, "leave you? Why would I do that?"

"You are going to the palace tomorrow, and you do not want to take me with you," he pouted.

She laughed softly, "I would have taken you along, but I am scared Aegis will have a bad influence on you.. I do not want that. You will remain here with them."

He sighed, "I do not want you to leave me."

"I am only doing this, because it will be to our advantage later on. Trust me," she caressed his hair.

"Will father go with you?"

She tried hard not to scoff, "no.. he will.. remain here with you," she looked straight ahead.

"At the end of it all, we will return back to our pack with pride gleaming in our eyes," she smiled dreamily.

He hugged her, "I do hope so too. I trust you mother, I know you can do this. Father would really appreciate it."

She sighed, ’He would.’

"Then, you finally assume your place as Oberon’s heir. No one would be in the way to stop that," she smirked, pride gleaming in her eyes.

"His heir?"

"Yes, Oberon wants a heir, someone who will assume the throne when he is no longer king."

"And that someone will be me?"

She beamed at him, "Yes my dear, no one else. You were always his heir."

"How come I do not know this until now?"

" I guess there was no time to tell you then."

"Hmm, his heir.." he squinted his eyes, "so one day I will be king?"

She nodded, "Yes. One day, you will be the ruler of the lycanthropy pack, and if I ever want that to happen, then I must make sure Aegis steps down from your throne."

His eyes brightened, "Wow, thank you so much mother. You are truly the best!"

"Just for you my child," she kissed his head.

"I really wish I could be with you while you are back there in the palace."

"I wish so too, but Aegis is not someone for a child to be around. I just want to protect you," she said softly.

He nodded, "I always believe you mother, whatever you say is for my own good."

She nodded, "for your own good," she ruffled his hair.

He embraced her more warmly, "I love you mother," he whispered.

"I love you too.. more than anything in this world. I love you so much."

He giggled, "that is a lot of love," he disengaged from the hug.

"As it should be," she shrugged playfully.

He nodded, "okay. That means, you love me more than you love father!" He clapped his hands excitedly.

She laughed nervously, "I do. You are my Archiz of course, I love you more than I love him."

He held her hand, "I hope whatever you want to do back at the palace works out for you."

"You are going to the palace?"
