"Neriah has not visited us for a very long time now, I hope he is fine," Dora sighed as she cleared the table.

"He must be busy with other stuffs," Archi told her.

"Hm, I think so. I mean.. he almost never stays away for this long," she sighed.

"Why are you worried? He is fine. You are not thinking something bad has happened to him right?"

She nodded, "that is exactly what I am thinking," she bit her lips embarrassed.

Archi smiled, "why not look for him then? He lives in the woods right?"

"Yes."

"Since you miss him so much, go look for him," he shrugged.

"I guess you are right," she smiled nervously.

She was dons clearing the table.

"Where is your father?"

"He is at the back of the house. He said he was strategizing."

She smiled sadly, "I hope his strategy eventually works," she muttered.

She headed to the door, "okay, I guess I have to go look for him then. Catch you later," she waved him and left the house.

"Where do I even start my search?" She furrowed her brows.

She remembered where she had first met him and she blushed.

"I might find him there," she rushed off to that spot.

She arrived there but did not find him, "oh, he is not here," she said a little disappointed.

She walked farther in the forest and found him sitting on a rock. She was excited and rushed to meet him.

"Neriah!" She hugged him from behind.

He was startled but relaxed when he realised it was Dora.

"What are you doing here?"

"It has been quite long since you came here, so I.. was.. uh.."

"Worried?"

Her cheeks reddened and she looked away so he wouldn’t notice the blush on her cheeks.

"A little."

He smirked, "a little?"

"Stop being a jerk!" She playfully slapped his shoulder.

He laughed and pulled her to sit on his laps. Her heart skipped a beat and she flinched but quickly adjusted.

"Yes, I was worried," she finally admitted.

He nodded, "I can see that."

She rolled her eyes, "do not let that get to your head," she folded her arms.

"You spoke too late," he grinned.

"Ugh!"

He laughed. He loved seeing her so frustrated.

"So.. do you have anything to tell me?"

"Yes. You will not believe this!"

He arched his brow, "okay?"

"I am.. Oberon’s long lost sister!" There was excitement in her eyes.

"Oh, his sister he was talking about back then?"

She nodded, "yes, that was me!"

He chuckled, "well, that is kind of cute," he ruffled her hair.

"Hey! Stop that."

He didn’t stop, he continued to ruffle it, "why, I like doing this," he grinned.

She attempted to get down from his laps but he held her tight.

"Hey, where are you going?"

"Since you do not want to listen to me, I guess I should get going," she frowned.

"That was just a joke, calm down."

"What kind of joke was that? I do not like my hair being ruffled."

"Okay, okay, I am sorry," he sighed.

"Hmph," she put her nose up in the air in pretend annoyance.

He tickled her sides, "you do not have to be be so angry all the time, loosen up. What is the need of being so angry all the time?"

"I like it," she shrugged.

He playfully hit her head, "that makes you old, have you seen yourself lately, you are finally growing wrinkles," he laughed.

She frowned and looked at her hands and touched her face, "what do you mean?"

He laughed, "ha! This feels good," he laughed at her sarcastically.

She pouted, "you are such a jerk!"

"I know, you do not have to remind me, hun."

There was silence for the next few minutes before Dora broke it.

"Neriah?"

"Yes?"

"Oberon is a Lycan," she said.

"Well, his father was one, what do you expect?"

She looked at him with furrowed brows, "how did you know?"

"He all narrated his story to us, right?"

"Oh."

"Hmm."

"Since he is a Lycan, he can go back to Aegis and claim his throne right?"

"That would not be a fight between Aegis and Oberon alone. Remember, Aegis controls a whole pack of Lycans, Oberon does not."

She sighed, "there must be a way, something must be done. We can not just sit and watch the events unfold just like that, can we?"

He shrugged, "we can not, but we also can not rush into things. Oberon might get killed if he rushes back to Aegis."

"Oh dear, poor Oberon," she shook her head.

"We just have to strategize well, with right timing and strategy, we can claim back his throne."

"That Risa is quite a witch!"

He chuckled, "you wish, she is also a werewolf like us, just that she is quite the bad one."

She pouted, "hmm," and squinted her eyes, "what if we could lure Aegis’s aides?"

"Lure them?"

"Probably, brainwash them or something?"

His lips turned downwards, "brainwash them? How would you do that?"

She bit her lips, "I.. have not come up with something yet."

"I do not think those set of wolves are very easy to brainwash Dora. They are Pack patriarchs and of course Aegis is their lupus primus."

She bit her lips, obviously frustrated, "ugh, this is harder than I thought," she looked at the sky.

"I know, they are more experienced than you are. There is no way you would just brainwash them, it would be a tough one," he shrugged.

She cleaned her fists, "how I wish I could just stab him in the heart," she gritted her teeth.

"You wish," he chuckled.

"It is not funny," she hit his chest.

"I guess so," he laughed.

"Why are you so difficult?" She held her head.

"Oh, I am sorry," he said in between his laughter.

"Maybe, you would be next."

"For what?"

"You would be the next person I would stab of course."

He smiled, "ha, your eyes did that a long time ago," he said softly.

She creased her brows, "huh?"

"Yes, I do not think you would need a dagger to stab me, your eyes keep doing that," he pouted his lips.

Her cheeks reddened and she looked away, "you are crazy," she blushed.

"Yes, I agree."

She looked anywhere else but him.

He wrapped his arm around her waist and pulled her closer.

She gasped, "what?"

"Just enjoying your warmth," he whispered.

"I.. I am making you warm?"

He nodded, "yes, and I am loving it," he hugged her.

Her cheeks were burning. She gulped, and let her hands caress his hair.

"You should stop thjs.. you are making it worse.." she gulped.

"What am I doing?" He smirked.

She tried hitting him again but he took a hold of her hand, and pushed her closer so that she was leaning on him.

"Did I mention you have pretty lips?" His lips were touching hers so he spoke on them.

"Wh- pretty.. lips?"

"Hm."

She lost track of her words, "I.. no.. I mean yes.. I meant... I do not remember," her voice shook.

He loved the effect he was having on her.

He gently placed his lips on her and kissed her.

She was stunned at first, but she slowly gave in.

It was slow and sweet at first, but soon it became a wild and hungry kiss.

Neriah kissed her passionately as if he had always wanted to do so. Dora was still trying to keep up with his hungry pace.

His hands slid to her thighs and he touched her spot. She gasped in his lips.

"Neriah," she moaned.

He pulled her closer, his hands going deeper and he began to work his way down there.
