Chapter 109: Leaked!
Archi and Dora had gotten exhausted and stopped running, they stopped running and sat down on the grass to wait for their Lycan friend to come over.
Some minutes later, he came trotting by, "Hello!" He beamed at them.
Dora waved at him, "How did it go? He finally went back or something?"
"Nah, I burnt him," he said dryly.
"Burnt him?" Dora’s eyes popped out of there sockets.
Archi blinked, "Why did you burn him?" He asked.
"That was the only way to calm him down, of I did not do what I had done then, he would still be tormenting us" he explaines to Archi.
"So, if I wanted someone to stop bothering me, I would burn him instead?"
Dora rolled her eyes, "Now, you are making him misunderstand," she slightly hit his arm.
"Yes, fine, fine," he pouted and folded his hands across his chest.
"Do not act like a child here," when frowned.
"Whatever," he rolled his eyes.
Archi lay on the grass, his head on Dora’s laps.
"Oh my goodness, he is gone, like he is really gone!" Dora laughed in relief.
"He wanted to get rid of us but I got rid of him instead," a mischievous grin formed at lips as he stared at the sky, feeling pleased with himself.
Dora gave him a stare, to be honest with herself, she couldn’t help but notice how sinfully beautiful the Lycan beside her was. Her heart skipped a beat ana she quickly looked away, her whole face red.
"Do you think someone saw me burn him?"
"No, we are the only ones who live here," Archi chipped in.
"He is right, there is no way someone could have seen that happen.. right?"
"I doubt, it is just us and Archi here, no one else," he shrugged.
Dora exhaled deeply,"I think it is time we head back home."
"Through that route?"
"Yes, is there another?"
"Well, I do not know if he will be able to stand the sight.." his voice dropped, referring to Archi.
Dora looked at him, "Unfortunately, he was not born in the palace and a witch in the form of a werewolf wants to kill him," she scoffed, "So, what do you think he is? He has already seen lot," she sniffed.
"Oh, if you say so then," he stood up and stretched out his hand for her to take.
She blushed and took his hand and he helped her up.
"I still.. do not know your name," she said quietly.
He smiled softly, she felt her heart melting with some kind of emotion and she quickly looked away to avoid doing anything she would regret later.
"You do not have to know it, it is so not important," he replied softly.
"How do you expect me to call you then?"
"No one,"he replied again.
"Huh? Why?"
"That is just it, just call me no one," he said, his voice nearly a whisper.
She rolled her eyes, "Fine, if that is what you want," she grumbled and he chuckled.
"Thank you," he smiled and carried Archi in his arms.
"Let us go back home," he said and walked ahead of Dora.
Dora watched him walk away, she bit her lips and dragged herself after him, "Ugh, does calling him no one seem right to him?"
She rolled her eyes, mumbling to herself.
"Stop complaining and walk up here, slowpoke,"he shouted for her to hear.
Archi laughed and she frowned, "Is that funny to you?"
Archi buried his face in ’No one’s’ neck to continue his laughter.
"Ugh!" She stamped her left foot.
"Are you creating a scene on purpose?"
"Uh huh? How is that any of your business?" She raised her nose in annoyance with her eyes closed.
He walked over to her and pulled her nose, "Let us get out of here, anything else could happen," he said sharply and frowned.
She gulped and continued walking after him.
Archi yawned, "What a hectic afternoon!"
"You are right, being chased by a mad omega was so hectic," he laughed nervously.
Archi blinked, "He did not even let me finish my meal," he sighed.
"Oh, I will make up for that once we reach home," Dora chipped in.
"Okay," he sniffed and closed his eyes, making himself comfortable in No one’s bosom. Soon, he fell asleep.
They got to the area where Andrew had burnt to death.
Dora felt chills in her spine when she saw his burnt body, she shook her head.
"Too bad he ended up this way," she shook her head in pity.
"Do not tell me you are feeling pity for him," he scoffed.
"It is actually a bad thing, I mean, come to think of it, he already had a daughter and a wife, so Nyx said," she sighed sadly.
"Now he is dead, he does not have to worry about them anymore," he chuckled.
She shook her head, "Let us keep going," she told him.
"Yes, we should leave this place, probably some vampires may come around."
"To do what?"
"Use his remains for potions and stuff," he shrugged and took her hand, "let us go."
She felt this warm sensation run through her body when he held her hand, her face reddened all the more.
They continued their walk.
Not long after, they heard rattling from the bushes.
"Hm?" He turned to the direction of the bushes.
There was someone lurking around the bushes. When he noticed his presence had been discovered, he immediately took to his heels.
"Someone was here?!" Dora gasped.
"Who is that?" He blinked in horror.
He had already took to his heels so Dora and No one couldn’t see his face.
"Oh my goodness, he must have seen Andrew’s carcass."
"What exactly will he do with that?"
"The lycanthropy pack is the closest pack!"
"So?"
"That is Nyx’s pack, Archi’s mother."
"Wait.. what? Isn’t Oberon their Alpha?"
"Exactly!"
"And he was a member of the lycanthropy pack! What are we doing to do?"
"Do not panic, we are not supposed to panic. We can handle him if he comes, he is an Alpha anyways."
"Oh?"
"Calm down, it can not get worse than this!"
