Chapter 100: Meeting with a Lycan
Chapter 100: Meeting with a Lycan
"I have no choice."
Archi threw himself in Dora’s bosom and began to cry softly.
Dora looked at him with sad eyes, "We did nothing wrong, but yet you intend to kill us," she gulped.
She looked at Archi’s head, "I have nothing to say, but let our innocence speak for us," she said quietly.
Aldof’s head dropped and the dagger fell, "I will not kill you both, I do not have the heart to," he shook his head and wiped a tear at the corner of his eye.
The rest guards looked at him surprised, "Aldof? Are you sure about this?"
"This pup is the Alpha’s heir, what will happen to us if anything happens to him?"
They were silent, he bent down and helped Archi up, wiping his tears, "Do not cry, nothing will happen to you both," he comforted him.
He looked at Dora, "I will help you get out of here, you must leave this place and never return," he said firmly.
She nodded, "Yes, thank you so much," she said her eyes watery.
She took Archi by the hand, "Joseph will lead you out of the palace without getting in contact with her lady, just go far away from the palace," he said roughly.
"Follow me," Joseph said and they followed him.
Together, they went out of the palace through a secret passage.
"You can leave from here, follow this path and you will reach a large tree, you should be able to find your way from there," with that, he went back into the palace.
She took his hand and they ran out of there as fast as they could.
Dora planned on returning to their old house, at the moment, they were helpless and needed to hide before doing anything else.
Archi was getting exhausted and could run no more, "I am tired."
Dora took him on her back and continued the race.
"We will be out of here soon, okay? Just hold on a little more," she kept ringing those words in his ears.
"Thank you, you are such a good person aunt Dora," his weak voice responded.
He had not had anything good since they were locked there.
"I will at the tree soon, hopefully, it should have some fruits," she muttered.
His eyes flickered, "I am hungry," he whispered.
"We will be there soon," she said and ran a little faster.
Soon they were at the tree, she stopped to catch her breath and gently laid him at the foot of the tree.
She looked up at the tree hoping to see some fruits but there was none but one.
Her stomach growled, she was hungry too but Archi was so weak.
She sighed and climbed up on the tree, plucked out the fruit and gave it to Archi.
"Here, you should take this, we will get home soon."
He took it and ate it slowly. She could feel his temperature rise.
’Is he falling sick?’ She thought to herself.
"Oh, no," she muttered.
She looked at him worriedly, "Please do not fall sick Archi, we will get home soon, I promise," she squeezed his hand gently.
Archi coughed, "I am so hungry and tired and I want my mother," he cried.
She sniffed and helped him up, "Let us keep going, we will soon get there."
He reluctantly agreed and took her hand, they continued their walk, "We will soon get there," she kept comforting him with these words.
When she noticed he was too tired to walk, she would carry him up on her shoulders and continue the journey.
----
Dora stood in front of the place they had once left all because Oberon wanted Nyx back.. now she was dead.
Tears blurred her vision again as she slowly walked to the door and opened it. Archi had fallen asleep so she carried him to the room and laid him down.
She went back to the living room and looked around, she wasn’t sitting down this time, she just wanted to set loose all her worries.
She dragged herself back to the door and went outside, feeling defeated, "I should not have left her side, if I had stayed back at the doctor’s, nothing would have happened to her," she sniffed and looked up at the sky.
It was getting dark, but she was sure they was going to be no moon tonight.
"Why do you even exist?" She asked the sky, "Do you just watch all these things happen? You do not do anything about it? Why? What kind of a goddess are you?" She almost yelled.
She held her head and walked farther away from the house.
"I am pretty sure this was the reason she never wanted to leave in the first place," she hiccupped.
She knelt down and placed her hands on the ground. She howled loudly and slowly changed into a wolf.
She growled and trotted far into the forest not caring to notice her surroundings.
She kept howling, sometimes yelping, them growling loud. She was in a very bad mood and was ready to vent out her anger on anything.
She trotted until she came across fur and some marks on the ground.
She stopped and looked at it, puzzled, she kept trotting and kept spotting fur and marks. Was a werewolf around?
She looked around for a while but noticed nothing around there. She shook it off and continued her trotting into the forest.
She reached a spot, there were even more fur and a lot of marks. She whined and sat on her tail observing the marks.
A low growl was heard behind her, she leaped and turned around to find a wolf behind her.
She was dazed for a while staring at it. It cocked it head to the side observing her, he straightened his head and trotted past her.
He sat on a log and transformed back to a human. She was shocked, he was a Lycan!
She too transformed back to a human but without her clothes.
He looked her way and arched his brows, "That is such a nice body, where did you get it from?"
