I turned towards the direction of the sound just in time to see a figure emerging from the water of the bath. The last rays of the sun shining in from above seemed to highlight the figure like a spotlight from the heavens. A topless man emerged from the water as if he had just stood up. The side view of his face as the light hit it made him look like a god as he tilted his head back and ran his fingers through his wet hair.

He’s so beautiful...I couldn’t stop staring at him and it wasn’t just because I was shocked at his sudden appearance.

My entire body froze in place as if captured under an unbreakable spell. As if he could sense my presence, the man’s eyes glanced over in my direction and met mine.

I know that I should just run away from here, but I can’t do that. He’s a prince but the bigger problem was the fact that the door was locked.

“Yes?” I replied questioningly as I racked my brain on what to do.

“Turn around. I told you to come here. Come to me, Mila...” the prince instructed patiently; however, I had no idea how long his patience would last for.

Probably not very long.

I still hesitated. Is there really no way for me to get out of here?

I heard a loud sigh from behind me and then the prince’s laugh echoed throughout the bathhouse. While I was feeling extremely uncomfortable, it seemed like Prince Florian was truly enjoying himself.

“I’m very tempted to head over there to get you, Mila. The only issue is that I don’t have any clothes on right now. I’ll let you choose. Do you want to come over here willingly or do you want me to step out of the bath to come and get you?” Prince Florian asked before he chuckled softly in pure amusement.

He’s naked.

Of course, I knew that already!

What kind of choice was this?

“I’ll head over right now, Your Highness...” I replied in a shaky voice.

Anything would be better than if he got out of the bath while he’s completely naked.

“Come here...” the prince said invitingly.

I cursed my luck while I wondered if Lady Regina knew that the prince would be here or was this all just some unlucky coincidence. The sun had set and now the moonlight was shining in from the windows above instead. After steeling my nerves, I turned around to face the bath once more. I almost gasped in surprise at how close the prince was to me. During the time that I had my back turned, Prince Florian had waded through the water and was right at the edge of the pool with his arms positioned leisurely on the side of the pool.

I took a few steps towards him to close the distance between us on shaky legs as his green eyes stared at me. What does he want?

“Umm...is there something that I can help you with, Your Highness?” I asked politely while praying that he would just let me leave.

“There are plenty of things that you can help me with, Mila...” the prince replied before he smiled teasingly at me.

He’s too beautiful that it’s painful to look straight at him. Prince Florian’s presence felt very different from his brothers. The way his deep green eyes looked at me made me fear him in a way that I didn’t quite understand.

What could he possibly want with me?

“Come closer, Mila...” Prince Florian beckoned as his hand stretched towards me.

I didn’t want to get any closer to him, but I didn’t want to be rude either. My real fear was his threat from before. If I didn’t approach him, I was sure that he would jump out of the water to get close to me and I couldn’t have that happening considering that he didn’t have a single piece of clothing on.

“Yes, Your Highness...” I mumbled softly as I approached him.

Slowly, I bent down onto my knees next to the pool as he watched me with a delighted smile on his beautiful lips. Rumors were true and this man was probably sent from the heavens to mess with the hearts of mortal women. My heart raced fast and hard in my chest, and the closer that I got to him, the louder I could hear my heart beating.
